GGuest UserIt's rare to feel such a strong urge to leave a positive review right after checking in, but this hotel truly exceeded my expectations! I had a 23-hour layover in Qingdao and wanted to catch the sunrise by the sea. I didn't have high hopes for the hotel initially, and although I missed the sunrise, the hotel experience was amazing. I got a late check-in and was upgraded to a king room with a terrace, which was incredibly comfortable. They even helped me with laundry, drying my clothes and delivering them right to my door. All the staff members provided excellent service. I felt like I was getting a thousand-dollar experience for only a hundred! The robot delivery for food was prompt, and the hotel environment is also very nice. It's just a few hundred meters from the subway station, so the location is easy to find. Atour Light gets a big thumbs up!

KKenBarbie1337If you are getting off near West Qingdao station, this is your hotel to go. It was the best hotel I stayed in Qingdao. Huge spacious very clean high-tech room, polite staff, good service. The hotel felt like it was totally new and it was the biggest room I stayed for a cheap price during my stay in Qingdao. If you need a place around West Qingdao station, this is your hotel to go.

HHarry I PVery good service , helpful staff. Location is excellent close to the Metro and attractions such as the brilliant Tsingtao museum and plenty of restaurants. The room was a bit worn and only one elevator in the hotel present some limitations.
The chair in my room was definitely not in a good clean order and had to be draped in a towel before it could be sat on.

GGuest UserThe room environment was great, and the front desk staff was incredibly nice. The location is also excellent; you can walk to many restaurants. It's also very close to the beach, just a ten-minute walk away. I'll definitely book here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserThe environment is very good, with birds singing and flowers blooming. It is very close to the beach, about a 10-minute walk. After dinner, I went for a walk on the beach, listening to the sound of the waves, and felt relaxed. There are many hotels around, the room is clean and tidy, and the service is good. I will stay here again next time I go to Qingdao!!!

It's a 2-minute walk from Licun subway station, very close to the venue! It's also convenient to take the subway to the scenic spot. The area around the hotel is very lively, with night markets, Qingdao Beer Exchange, and shopping malls. You can also order a lot of takeout after watching the concert.
Here you can also feel the hospitality of Shandong. While waiting to check in, the front desk lady shared local peaches and wedding candies with us, and gave us a bag of Qingdao specialties when checking out. So heartwarming🥰

GGuest UserTook the metro to the airport and look out for the lift. Take it to Level 2 and look out for signage leading to VIP Building. Follow the arrows (on the ground) and it will lead you to Aerotel Hotel. It's in the same direction as Grand Baroney and Baroney Hotel. The walk is about 10-15mins. Once you reach the lift lobby of Aerotel Hotel, take another lift to Level 3 for check in. The room is small but manageable. Amenities are enough for a night's rest. Bed is comfortable and toilet is huge. It's a good choice to choose this hotel if you have an early morning flight.

GGuest UserNice privately-owned hotel in an old building right in the middle of the historical former German district. I enjoyed the stay.
A couple of things you need to realize, though:
1) no supermarkets around. The nearest convenience store is a good 500 meters walk at ”Taipinjiao Park” subway station;
2) no budget restaurants/Western fast food shops. Plenty of fancy overpriced local food restaurants nearby, however;
3) room cleaning is light. They just replace trash bags and towels. No making up the bed or floor mopping;
4) you'll see ants, mosquitoes and an occasional spider in the room, as it's located in a very old Japanese-occupation era building in a garden-like environment. But they warn you about that in the hotel Welcome message. Plus the hotel provides an anti-mosquito pluggable device. Use it.
5) there's a restaurant on premices right in front of the hotel rooms. They play music, but not loud enough to bother me. They close shop at 8pm. There's another restaurant right next door. That one is louder, but even them wind up at around 9pm. So, it didn't bother me...
6) the manager is very much responsive. He sent me a welcome message the day before I checked in, plus the hotel exact location map, so I could find it. The other hotel/restaurant staff are very friendly also.
I enjoyed the stay. Bathing Beach 2 (an old German pivate villas beach) is right next door, so I did plenty of sunbathing and swimming. Fun...
