"I booked this place for the sea view, and the sea view room definitely didn't disappoint. The location is also very convenient; it's close to May Fourth Square, the subway station, and MixC shopping mall. Walking to the Olympic Sailing Center is also fine. The room is spacious and having a washing machine and refrigerator was very convenient. The only downside was a strange smell in the bedroom when the door was closed, but it was fine after airing it out. Breakfast was okay, though there wasn't a huge variety."

Hotel near May Fourth Square/Olympic Sailing Center,Qingdao
Opened in 2023, the Seaside Adulina Scenic Apartment (Qingdao May Fourth Square) is a great accommodation choice in Qingdao. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Qingdao Railway Station located approximately 8km away and Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport roughly 54km away. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Fushansuo Metro Station within walking distance. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Wind of May, Lover Dam and Performance of "Dreaming of the Ocean". When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"The room was quite small. My friend and I stayed there, hoping to save money on accommodation so we could spend more on activities. If you're traveling with two people and have the same idea, I'd recommend booking a larger room type. There was mold on the ceiling and power outlets. The toilet and shower were in the same compartment. You need a key card to access the upper floors, which requires a 30 RMB deposit with the owner. You can opt not to use the key card, but then you'll only be able to use the freight elevator. The room couldn't be deadbolted from the inside, and it was a small room within a larger suite. When I asked the owner about it, they said it was fine and no one could open it from the outside. However, the cleaning lady could enter every day. The pros are that it's cheap and close to the subway. Fushan Suo station is closer than May Fourth Square station. It's also very close to various attractions. Many uncles and aunties, children, and families also stay here."

"Out of the three cities I visited this trip, Qingdao was my favorite. When we checked in, the other rooms hadn't been cleaned yet, only the more expensive sea-view rooms were ready. The front desk staff and manager kindly upgraded our room for free, which was a great experience. We stayed for two nights, and the cleaning service was incredibly thorough – multiple times a day! Every time we left for a midday break and came back, the room was perfectly tidied. Plus, every night, someone would even bring our freshly washed clothes back to the room, which was so convenient. The breakfast was delicious too; I definitely gained a few pounds!"

The Lv Feng Hotel (Qingdao Wusi Square The Mixc) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Lv Feng Hotel (Qingdao Wusi Square The Mixc) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Qingdao. The hotel is conveniently located just 8km from Qingdao Railway Station and 54km from Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with May 4th Square Metro Station within walking distance. This hotel is located near many of Qingdao's attractions including Qingdao Third Bathing Beach, Tsingtao Haitian View&Art and Olympic Sailing Center Sea Cruise. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Qingdao hotel features parking on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"This is the perfect place to stay if you love shopping malls! The transportation is convenient. Exit A2 of Wusi Square Station, turn left, walk for five minutes, and you'll see Yuexi Apartments on your right. The front desk is on the first floor for check-in. Nearby, there's a 7-Eleven and a Luckin Coffee, and a few restaurants further up the street. I'm giving it five stars mainly because the price is acceptable, and the staff at the front desk was friendly and polite. The in-room amenities aren't perfect; I recommend reading other reviews as many people have already pointed out key issues. However, these seem to be building-wide problems (like dimly lit corridors to save energy, slow elevators, etc.). Although the room I stayed in didn't have a stunning view (it wasn't a sea view room and was blocked by the building in front), the bed and pillows were very comfortable for all three nights, and housekeeping cleaned daily. For your first check-in, it's easier to enter from the first floor. Once you have your room card, you can access Yuexi Apartments from the 6th-floor Sky City Garden, which connects directly to MIXC Mall. The in-room washer and dryer are very convenient, and they provide a small packet of laundry detergent daily. The refrigerator is large and cold enough! I suggest adding a plate or two and some utensils to the kitchen, which would make it even more convenient for guests."

Orange Crystal Hotel is conveniently located just 500 meters from May Fourth Square. The hotel environment is excellent, with very nice interior decoration. Our room was clean, bright, and well-equipped, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. We stayed on the 12th floor, which offered views of the iconic 'Wind of May' sculpture at May Fourth Square and the beach. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly, and the breakfast was extensive. It's an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Exceptional VIP Stay! Cindy and Reya are the True Face and Soul of Crowne Plaza Qingdao! We are absolutely thrilled with our stay at Crowne Plaza Qingdao, and it has become truly unforgettable solely due to the incredible efforts of two outstanding professionals at the Front Desk — Cindy and Reya. From the very first second of our arrival, they welcomed us with world-class hospitality and high-level care. Thanks to their exceptional dedication, we were granted a spectacular, breathtaking panorama room on the highest 38th floor, which made our stay absolutely magical. Furthermore, their outstanding generosity, exceptional VIP compliments, and a highly personalized approach to our family and our child touched our hearts deeply.A premium international hotel brand builds its reputation and positive image only through such exemplary employees. Without Cindy and Reya, an elite hotel is just a building with furniture. They are the ones who breathe life into it, holding the entire guest experience on their shoulders and making the brand's identity truly prestigious. They didn’t just do their job; they went above and beyond to deliver pure hospitality from the heart.I sincerely request the General Manager and Senior Leadership of Crowne Plaza Qingdao to highly praise and officially reward Cindy and Reya for their brilliant work. They are the absolute best assets of this hotel and the ultimate reason why guests will always want to return here. Thank you, Cindy and Reya, for making our family stay so special!P.S. We also want to express our deepest gratitude to another incredible team member, Yu Fei (äșŽèČ). During our check-out process, she showed exceptional care and professionalism. Understanding our travel plans, she personally helped us book our next stay at the beachfront sister hotel within the Crowne Plaza network. Her initiative completely saved us from any language barriers and made our transition seamless. Along with Cindy and Reya, Yu Fei represents the gold standard of IHG service. This trio of brilliant professionals makes Crowne Plaza Qingdao an absolute benchmark of luxury hospitality!

The room faced the sea with a fantastic view, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. 👍 I was traveling with my mother and child, and the hotel upgraded our room type, which was very much appreciated! The hotel's dinner buffet offered great value for money! The seafood was fresh and there was a wide variety, so much so that we ate dinner at the hotel's buffet for 3 consecutive nights. It was so convenient not having to stress about finding a restaurant. The hotel's backyard connects to a seaside promenade, perfect for walking or cycling. Along the way, we saw many people fishing, catching huge mantis shrimp and blue crabs. It was wonderful to enjoy fresh seafood right by the ocean!

True to its Crowne Plaza name, the location is by the sea, and the standard sea-view room offers a comfortable balcony to enjoy the ocean. We booked a two-night stay as part of a package and received two tickets to Sunac Water World and four tickets for Sunac Land, which was incredible value for money. When heading to Sunac Mall, I recommend using the southwest gate; it's more convenient, about 10 RMB away, and Water World is right on the second floor, saving you a long walk. Agatha proactively contacted us beforehand and was available for WeChat communication if we had any questions. She even provided welcome fruit and helped us with a late check-out when we left, so we didn't have to rush to the airport. We arrived just in time – truly thoughtful service, highly commendable! 👍 As a loyal Ctrip customer, I do have a minor piece of feedback: the mattress was too soft, and so were the pillows. This might just be a personal preference, though. Overall, five stars!

My stay at Westin this time was quite unique. The staff were all very friendly. I arrived at the hotel early with my child, before 2 PM. The front desk kindly pre-assigned a room and allowed us to wait in the Executive Lounge until the room was cleaned, then issued the key card directly. We could also enjoy afternoon tea there. The Executive Lounge is on the 54th floor and offers excellent views. However, perhaps due to the hotel's age, some room facilities seemed old. They probably prioritize cleaning king-size rooms. The front desk initially gave me a room that they said had a leaking sound in the bathroom and was under repair. I immediately requested to switch rooms. After some time, they said it was fixed, then admitted that only the pipe was repaired and there was still a water sound. They also said there were no other vacant rooms of the same type, and other available rooms hadn't been cleaned yet. By this time, it was probably 4 PM. They took me to see the 'leaky' room. There was an obvious dripping sound in the bathroom. It might not be a problem during the day, but it would be annoying during sleep at night. Moreover, there were clear signs of water damage (swelling) on the bathroom ceiling from the leak. I still insisted on changing rooms. A manager came to resolve the issue, and her attitude was very good. She informed me that another room was being cleaned and would be ready in about twenty minutes, so I returned to the lounge to wait. Twenty minutes passed, and I also heard the female front desk staff in the lounge on the phone, helping me to urge them along. Finally, the key card was issued, and we checked in. They sent some small cookies and fruit to the room. My child was tired, so after checking in, she went to sleep with the lights off. Unexpectedly, there was a sudden, urgent doorbell sound. When I opened the door, there were two men, not in hotel uniforms! They said they needed to come in to check the blanket. I was a bit confused at first. I asked who reported the issue, as I knew nothing about it when I checked in. A female staff member in uniform passed by and mentioned some name to the maintenance workers, then asked me if it was convenient for them to come in and check for nails on the carpet! When I heard 'nails', I was furious. No one told me this room had a problem when I checked in, and no one told me someone would come to inspect the room after a repair request! For safety during my stay, the staff came in and felt around the carpet several times, saying it was fine, just a slightly sharp edge that needed caution. Okay, fine, they finally left. On the day of checkout, I requested a late checkout until 1 PM. Around 12:40 PM, as I was doing a final check of the room and packing my luggage, the room door suddenly opened with a swipe, and a person who seemed to be a cleaner entered. Since I was standing facing the door, I came face-to-face with the woman, and I think we both froze for a few seconds. Then I said I hadn't checked out yet, and she apologized profusely and quickly exited the room. Perhaps the information between the front desk and housekeeping wasn't synchronized or something like that. It was the first time I'd encountered such a peculiar situation! Overall, though, the hotel's location is very convenient, close to the Olympic Sailing Center and the Third Bathing Beach, and directly opposite MixC Mall. The breakfast is also very rich, and my child said she really liked it.

Just checked out of the Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort, and this 3-day, 2-night 'lie-flat' vacation was truly therapeutic. We didn't have to rush to any attractions, making it perfect for families with kids or those looking for a quiet escape. The hotel has a European castle style, and the high-ceilinged lobby with a crystal chandelier immediately sets a holiday mood upon entry. We were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room. The room itself was generously sized, but the real highlight was the large balcony. Stepping out, you're greeted by an unobstructed view of Aoshan Bay. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from bed in the morning and the sunset over the sea in the evening – simply an amazing view. While some areas of the facilities showed a bit of age, the overall cleanliness and tidiness were quite good. Downstairs, there's a beach where you can wade in the water or dig in the sand – the kids absolutely loved it. There's also an outdoor children's swimming pool, and hotel guests have unlimited access. Next to it, there's a small petting zoo, where feeding the animals easily fills up a whole day.

1. **Facilities**: The hotel facilities are a bit old, which is understandable given the hotel is over ten years old. 2. **Service**: Now, let's talk about the service. With older facilities, the service should be even more attentive. But as an old five-star hotel, the Hilton Golden Beach can be said to have no proactive service awareness at all. First, when I arrived by car on the first night, I couldn't find a parking space above ground. I asked the concierge where the underground parking was, and the staff told me the underground parking was full. I had to park on the side of the road, but then he told me I couldn't park there because a bus would come at 7 AM and block its passage. So I had to get up at 6:30 AM the next day to move my car. On the second day, I barely found an above-ground parking space. On the third day, there were no available above-ground spaces again, so I had to ask about the underground parking. The staff again said it was full. I questioned this, asking if it was full every single day for three days. The staff said they needed to manually lift the gate for the underground parking. It was only when I insisted on parking there that the staff took me to the underground parking. Although the underground parking was indeed not large, at least one-third of the spaces were empty. So, I believe the staff simply didn't want guests to park there because they found it troublesome. Additionally, when taking my child to the outdoor pool, two staff members checked room cards when entering the pool, but there was no place to get towels. Since the staff didn't put a child's bathrobe in my room, my child was cold after swimming. I had to go to the front desk to ask for towels, and then the staff had to go find them and bring them to me. Can't the hotel management improve their proactive service awareness? I don't believe I'm the first person to need a towel at that moment. They can have two people checking room cards, but they can't have two people providing towels for guests? 3. **Breakfast**: The hotel's breakfast can be said to have no Qingdao specialties at all. The variety is limited. The breakfast noodle soup has two broth options, seafood and chicken. For a coastal city, you'd at least expect some shrimp in the seafood noodle soup. The chicken soup didn't even have shredded chicken. It was just noodles, broth, and a few vegetable leaves – this is a five-star bowl of noodle soup. I stayed for four nights, and the fruit selection was the same every day: cantaloupe, pear, apple, peach, dragon fruit. In short, it was about the same quality as a cafeteria. 4. **Hygiene**: Needs improvement. The carpets in public areas were dirty and greasy. The baby chairs in the restaurant were also not clean. At breakfast, while I was waiting for the restaurant staff to clean the table, the placemat wasn't very dirty, so they just flipped it over and told me to continue using it. Well, okay. 5. My stay coincided with the summer vacation and the Beer Festival, and the hotel clearly had limited capacity. 6. Thanks to the staff who took me to the underground parking on the third day.

This hotel is located in Huangdao District, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it perfect for guests who prefer a quieter environment without large crowds. The indoor pool is spacious and well-lit, with depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters, which is great for families and those learning to swim. The beach is a mere 3-minute walk away. It's a public beach, not a private one, so swimming isn't recommended. However, it's fantastic for clam digging, playing in the sand, and wading in the water in the mornings and evenings. It offers a more private beach experience compared to the crowded public swimming beaches, making it an ideal compromise. There are also water sports facilities operated by third parties on the beach, offering additional options. The hotel features a resident band performance in the evenings, which can be enjoyed directly from the outdoor terrace dining area. I recommend booking a room with a terrace so you can dine and drink while listening to the music. Alternatively, a sea-view room with a balcony also offers a good view. The hotel also has an outdoor mini zoo with cute animals like miniature horses, which is a fun attraction for both adults and children. The breakfast is decent, meeting the standard for a five-star hotel. This room type offers excellent value for money, so remember to book in advance during peak season. By the way, a little heads-up: Qingdao is under a fishing ban throughout July and August, so there's no such thing as ”freshly caught seafood” during this time. Most seafood is frozen or imported from other regions. Friends, be wary of false advertising from some seafood stalls.

The front desk is in a different building from where you actually check in, so you have to drag your luggage to another building after you've checked in. However, the room itself was nice and spacious, located on the 26th floor. The cleanliness could be improved though, as it wasn't thoroughly cleaned.
