Guest UserTraveling with girlfriends, I was deeply attracted by this store at a glance! The overall environment is full of atmosphere, like a romantic Monet garden, and the photos are especially filmed. The rooms are clean and tidy, the sanitation is in place, and the smart facilities in the whole house are convenient and comfortable to use. The store has an elegant cafe and a small tavern with a sense of atmosphere, and there are many places to relax. The restaurant tastes great, the breakfast is handmade, the special dumplings taste superb, delicious and warm. The staff is warm and caring, friendly and easy-going, and takes care of us as family members throughout the whole process. The experience is full. The best choice for girlfriends to travel is highly recommended!

RitarongExcellent location, close to May Fourth Square with many shopping centers nearby, including Hisense Plaza. We had a huge steamed seafood feast that was both delicious and affordable – we practically had to be rolled out! And those fruit-flavored beers? Absolutely incredible, better than any other drink. The combination of fruitiness and low alcohol content is simply superb!

Guest UserThe room amenities were great, and laundry was convenient. The only downside was that the dryers were often in use, but luckily, the room had a dehumidifier. Hanging clothes in the bathroom with the dehumidifier running overnight worked wonders. My kids got several outfits dirty each day playing in the sand, and I was able to wash them all promptly. Breakfast was more Western-style and healthy. The adjacent music restaurant was fantastic; we ate dinner there four nights in a row, and both the Western and Chinese dishes were excellent. The children's toiletries and slippers were good quality, and the room came with pour-over coffee equipment and beans, plus a bed rail for the little one. You could really tell they paid attention to the details. The only slight drawback was the loud music program on Saturday night, with the speakers pointed directly at our room – it was too noisy. If you're staying over a weekend, definitely ask for an odd-numbered room to avoid the noise.

LongzhujijiThis unique hotel is tucked away in the Dabao Island district, featuring a hundred-year-old 'liyuan' (courtyard house) architecture that's distinctly Qingdao. The retro corridors and open-air courtyard create a wonderful atmosphere for photos. The location is superb, with direct subway access, and both the Zhanqiao Pier and shopping areas are within walking distance. The rooms are clean, well-insulated, and equipped with new, smart facilities. The staff are responsive and helpful. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety, and there's a cafe and Western restaurant right in the courtyard. It offers great value for money and is perfect for visitors looking to truly explore the old city.

marmot1212Overall, I'm quite disappointed. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with young children.
Let's start with the positives, which go to the housekeeping staff. They provided plenty of water. I don't like the light from alarm clocks, and the attendant noticed I'd turned mine slightly away, understood I disliked the light, and even flipped it over for me. Very thoughtful service!
Now for the many negatives!
First, the front desk staff. I had purchased a voucher for two rooms for two nights, and I made this clear at check-in. However, on the third day, they still called me around noon asking if I was extending my stay, which disrupted my rest. Later, our room cards stopped working, leaving three adults and two children stranded on another floor. Extremely frustrating! The correct procedure would have been for them to check my reservation before calling, realize I had another booking, and then have an attendant deliver new cards to my room. Thumbs down!
No breakfast in the executive lounge – thumbs down! If the executive lounge doesn't offer breakfast, then there should at least be a dedicated dining area in the main restaurant for executive room guests, offering priority seating. I booked an executive room precisely because I wanted to avoid crowded breakfasts and long queues. If I had known they couldn't provide this service, I would have chosen a different hotel or not booked an executive room, as there's a premium price attached, right?
The hotel's family facilities – thumbs down! There are absolutely no family facilities, no kids' playground, and no kids' club activities. Nothing for toddlers to do.
The beach – thumbs down! If you're coming specifically for the beach, don't bother. The hotel's so-called private beach is surrounded by two drainage outlets. When it rained, we could see dark, murky water being discharged directly into it. I wouldn't dare let my children play there. So, you'd have to walk quite a distance anyway, making staying here completely unnecessary.
The rooms are very small. There are no connecting rooms, and even rooms of the same type aren't adjacent (according to the hotel staff themselves). The two rooms they assigned us had several other rooms in between, which was very inconvenient.

I specifically want to leave a glowing review for all the front office staff at MGM Qingdao. Elly from Guest Relations is incredibly responsible; she coordinated and resolved my requests within minutes of me messaging her during my stay. The front desk service was meticulous and thoughtful, proactively confirming my preferences and ensuring zero wait time for check-in. The concierge team provided incredibly detailed service, handling my luggage securely and proactively opening doors and greeting me upon my return. Their recommendations for local seafood restaurants were spot on and reliable. The Executive Lounge offers an unparalleled view, with a rich selection of afternoon tea and happy hour meals, and the staff were prompt in clearing tables. All the in-room appliances and bathroom amenities were immaculate and well-maintained. The infinity high-altitude pool offers direct sea views, and the gym boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with a full range of cardio and strength equipment. From the front desk to the lounge, the service maintained a consistently high standard, with Elly coordinating and following up throughout. The experience was simply flawless.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, offering partial sea views. It's super convenient as the subway lines 2 and 3 are right downstairs. Plus, it's next to MixC shopping mall, so finding places to eat is a breeze. The front desk staff and telephone service agents were all incredibly warm and welcoming, and the cleaning ladies were also very nice. The breakfast spread was extensive and catered to different tastes, though they seemed a bit short on cutlery, as I had to grab some from other tables. I suggest they improve on that. Overall, highly recommended!

The room was great! I really liked the separate layout of the bathroom and the bed. The windows were also well-designed, providing good ventilation and making the room feel comfortable and clean. The staff service was excellent too. The young ladies were pretty, gentle, and generous – it was a pleasure to see them (and I'm a woman, haha!). The young men spoke softly, which was as calming as the sea here. All in all, I support dog-friendly hotels!

Anonymous UserThe interior walls of the rooms and hallways are quite old, showing signs of use and age, but the bathrooms are well-maintained and very clean, although the walls show signs of dampness and the carpets retain the smell of dampness from the sea during rainy seasons. The staff were very helpful and provided excellent service; they were cheerful, smiling, and very polite. I was quite impressed with both the male and female receptionists I encountered

We stayed at the Magic Hotel, which we chose because it’s a new building. The rooms are spacious, the service is good, and there’s a wide selection for breakfast. However, the place is very crowded since it consists of three large buildings. It has three outdoor swimming pools and one indoor pool. The largest pool is divided into two, and one side is used for paid boat rentals — but no one really uses them, so they should probably stop offering that.
Because the complex is so big, you can enjoy everything without even needing to leave the premises. I even went alone to watch the newly released F1 movie in the hotel cinema. There’s also a food street, although some areas were empty. The beach is shared with outsiders, and pool as there are a lot of families with kids.
That said — you can truly relax here. In other places, especially hotels in the city center, it’s much harder to unwind due to the heavy traffic and constant honking. I do wish the air conditioning had a dehumidifying function — that would have made it even better. The minibar fridge had limited options and only provided water, which was a bit...
good luck guys and thank you for service.
we stayed 22nd floor car room. its very high and look as veryy good.
