Guest UserThe Mandarin Hotel is located on Starlight Island in the West Coast New Area, surrounded by the sea and boasting stunning island scenery. As soon as you arrive, you can feel a sense of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sea breeze creates a wonderful vacation vibe. However, there was an entertainment event on the island that day, so it was incredibly crowded.
Stepping into the hotel lobby, the elegant and grand design perfectly blends with marine elements. The glass dome and crystal chandeliers complement each other beautifully. What impressed me most was the self-playing piano in the lobby; its melodious tunes flowed under the dome, adding an artistic touch to the entire space and instantly washing away any travel fatigue.
My business twin room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic sea views. Drawing back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by the magnificent sight of the sunrise over the ocean. The room was well-equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and every detail showcased quality.
The hotel's amenities are excellent. The complimentary indoor pool has clear, well-maintained water and is a good size. It's very well-regulated; you need a swimming cap to use it, and there's also a sauna and hot spring. The gym is fully equipped, and in addition to exercise machines, there's a table tennis room and an aerobics room. The hotel garden is charming, with European-style stone carvings adding a unique flair. Just outside, there's a seaside boardwalk, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Parking and EV charging were very convenient, and the staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making my entire stay, from check-in to check-out, feel incredibly welcoming.

Guest UserThis hotel is located on Xingguang Island in Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis. The facilities are great, and the lobby manager was incredibly attentive and helpful, even assisting me in connecting my iPad to the Wi-Fi.
The surrounding area is excellent for taking photos, but the dining options leave a bit to be desired. The hotel breakfast was just passable, and I couldn't even get a bowl of noodles for dinner. I waited ages for my order to arrive and eventually gave up – guess it was an unplanned diet!
The bar street outside was also pretty deserted at night. I imagine it only gets lively during the summer beer festival or holidays.
It's a good spot for families with kids, though, as there are plenty of parent-child activities.

The MulberriesGrand Barony Qingdao Airport has an incredibly convenient location with an indoor connecting corridor leading straight to the airport terminal, so we can walk over easily. The hotel also provides shuttle service for guests carrying lots of luggage; simply tell the staff ahead, and they will make proper arrangements. Dining options inside the hotel are limited, but we could easily take Didi to taste delicious local food nearby. Every staff member is polite, warm and ready to offer helpful support. It’s an ideal pick for airport stays.

1. The hotel's location is excellent: it's about 1 km from the Olympic Sailing Center, and there's a subway station very close by, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There are also many dining options around the hotel, allowing us to try different cuisines every day.
2. We were upgraded to a sea-view room. Although the room was a bit old, the cleanliness was good. The bedding was very comfortable, which greatly improved my sleep. The service from the front desk, concierge, and housekeeping staff was all excellent.
3. I have a small suggestion regarding the dining: We checked out at 6:30 AM, just as the restaurant was opening. Since we were in a hurry, we asked the restaurant to pack some breakfast for us to take away. What disappointed me was that, despite the restaurant supervisor mentioning a standard packing procedure during our prior conversation, we ended up with two croissants and two Danish pastries, unwrapped, in a paper bag. I think this standard is too low. At the very least, they should have been put in a food-safe bag to separate them from the paper. This was the only small letdown during our stay.

We took our kids to Qingdao and booked a 4-day, 3-night stay. We got a free upgrade to a sea-view room, and they even gave the little one a sand-digging toy, plus complimentary fruit and drinks. Every staff member provided excellent service; it was a fantastic experience. The hotel has direct access to the beach from the basement, which is super convenient. The beach right below the hotel was uncrowded and peaceful (whereas the area closer to the Shilaoren entrance was packed with people). There are also several large shopping malls near the hotel, making dining very easy. We could order takeout from Hema, 7-Eleven, and Decathlon, which was great because we didn't bring all our gear, haha.
The hotel didn't have many parent-child activities; we mostly just dug in the sand and swam during our stay. It would be even better if there were more family-friendly activities.

I stayed for four nights in total, and from check-in, through multiple inquiries, last-minute requests, and finally check-out, I interacted with Kimi at the front desk numerous times. Her service quality was consistently excellent throughout. She wasn't just friendly at the start and then less so later on. Whether it was for minor inquiries or coordinating things like room preferences, executive privileges, or breakfast benefits, Kimi always provided clear and accurate answers, with no conflicting information. Her professionalism was steady, her patience unwavering, and her demeanor genuinely reserved. The entire experience was smooth and seamless, which is a truly exceptional level of front desk service. I will definitely recommend The Westin Qingdao to my friends and family, specifically highlighting Kimi's outstanding service at the front desk. My sincere thanks again.

Guest UserStayed here with my boyfriend and the overall experience exceeded our expectations! ✨ The hotel's decor is exquisite and feels luxurious; every photo we took turned out beautifully. The room was spacious and bright, and amenities like the mini-fridge, screen mirroring, and Dyson hairdryer were definite bonuses. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation made our stay incredibly pleasant. Breakfast was delicious with fresh ingredients, and the service was gentle and appropriate. The environment was quiet and serene, perfect for a peaceful getaway for two. I've already recommended it to my friends and we'll definitely be back!

WangdapiaoliangzhiyuanyuanThe room was great, with brand new facilities. The staff were very polite and checked me in quickly, which I really appreciated. I particularly loved the amazing air quality around the hotel, full of negative ions, and I could smell the fresh scent of trees. It truly felt like a retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. Just over 100 meters to the east is Baiguoshan Forest Park, and about 80 meters away is Qingyayuan, a fantastic place for wood-fired chicken soup.

Bearing the Crowne Plaza name, it once must have been glorious. My first stay here was a huge disappointment. The beach near the hotel is truly mediocre. The outdoor family pool is out of service, the Ferris wheel isn't operating, and the surrounding environment is completely different from what I saw in the online videos – a classic case of expectation vs. reality. Breakfast is served one floor below the lobby, and there's no direct elevator access, which is inconvenient for older guests. I had to ask a staff member who led us through a long, disused section of the restaurant, opened a door, took us to an elevator in Zone A to the second-floor lobby, and then we had to walk back to Zone B to catch another elevator. The breakfast selection was extensive, but the taste wasn't up to 4-star standards. The staff were all very nice, but the management is nowhere near 5-star hotel quality. I understand that with lower prices, there are more guests, and they need to cut costs. I definitely won't be returning for a second visit.

SugelanbingganBefore my stay, Kayla April from the service team proactively reached out to me. Throughout my visit, whenever I had a question or needed something, I just messaged her and she'd respond and handle it right away – excellent service! 👍 I'm extremely satisfied with the hotel; it's grand and upscale. The room was spacious, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This time, I stayed on the executive floor, and the afternoon tea and dinner included were also very good. The swimming pool 🏊♂️ and gym facilities were comprehensive. Overall, I'm very pleased with my stay at the Golden Beach Hilton. Plus, I got a sneak peek at the upcoming Beer Festival!
