The Mandarin Hotel is located on Starlight Island in the West Coast New Area, surrounded by the sea and boasting stunning island scenery. As soon as you arrive, you can feel a sense of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sea breeze creates a wonderful vacation vibe. However, there was an entertainment event on the island that day, so it was incredibly crowded. Stepping into the hotel lobby, the elegant and grand design perfectly blends with marine elements. The glass dome and crystal chandeliers complement each other beautifully. What impressed me most was the self-playing piano in the lobby; its melodious tunes flowed under the dome, adding an artistic touch to the entire space and instantly washing away any travel fatigue. My business twin room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic sea views. Drawing back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by the magnificent sight of the sunrise over the ocean. The room was well-equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and every detail showcased quality. The hotel's amenities are excellent. The complimentary indoor pool has clear, well-maintained water and is a good size. It's very well-regulated; you need a swimming cap to use it, and there's also a sauna and hot spring. The gym is fully equipped, and in addition to exercise machines, there's a table tennis room and an aerobics room. The hotel garden is charming, with European-style stone carvings adding a unique flair. Just outside, there's a seaside boardwalk, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Parking and EV charging were very convenient, and the staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making my entire stay, from check-in to check-out, feel incredibly welcoming.

This is by far the best hotel in Jimo. It's incredibly convenient whether you're heading out of town for a meal or exploring the ancient city. The service is exceptional, and they even offer traditional handicraft activities. The hotel's decor is super instagrammable – perfect for ancient-style photos without looking out of place. The breakfast is high-quality with a rich variety, plus they have special local delicacies. Overall, it's a perfect score!

This was my first stay at the Mövenpick by Accor, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, with every detail meticulously looked after, and all the in-room amenities were complete and in excellent condition. The hotel's overall atmosphere was elegant and quiet, with no sense of noise or disturbance. The staff member, Annie, was very friendly and provided thoughtful and attentive service. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the major attractions, which made sightseeing stress-free. The price was affordable and great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Qingdao.

Overall, I'm quite disappointed. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with young children. Let's start with the positives, which go to the housekeeping staff. They provided plenty of water. I don't like the light from alarm clocks, and the attendant noticed I'd turned mine slightly away, understood I disliked the light, and even flipped it over for me. Very thoughtful service! Now for the many negatives! First, the front desk staff. I had purchased a voucher for two rooms for two nights, and I made this clear at check-in. However, on the third day, they still called me around noon asking if I was extending my stay, which disrupted my rest. Later, our room cards stopped working, leaving three adults and two children stranded on another floor. Extremely frustrating! The correct procedure would have been for them to check my reservation before calling, realize I had another booking, and then have an attendant deliver new cards to my room. Thumbs down! No breakfast in the executive lounge – thumbs down! If the executive lounge doesn't offer breakfast, then there should at least be a dedicated dining area in the main restaurant for executive room guests, offering priority seating. I booked an executive room precisely because I wanted to avoid crowded breakfasts and long queues. If I had known they couldn't provide this service, I would have chosen a different hotel or not booked an executive room, as there's a premium price attached, right? The hotel's family facilities – thumbs down! There are absolutely no family facilities, no kids' playground, and no kids' club activities. Nothing for toddlers to do. The beach – thumbs down! If you're coming specifically for the beach, don't bother. The hotel's so-called private beach is surrounded by two drainage outlets. When it rained, we could see dark, murky water being discharged directly into it. I wouldn't dare let my children play there. So, you'd have to walk quite a distance anyway, making staying here completely unnecessary. The rooms are very small. There are no connecting rooms, and even rooms of the same type aren't adjacent (according to the hotel staff themselves). The two rooms they assigned us had several other rooms in between, which was very inconvenient.

The Westin Qingdao has an excellent location, very close to May Fourth Square and the commercial district, making it super convenient for getting around, sightseeing, shopping, and finding places to eat. Staying on the Executive Floor offered outstanding views; I could take in the stunning sea views right from my window. The Executive Lounge experience was superb, with a wide variety of food. The staff were attentive and responsive, providing meticulous service throughout my stay. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay, perfect for a trip to Qingdao.

Hardware: The room facilities meet five-star standards, with two sinks for guests to have their own independent space. Hygiene: The room is relatively clean. The only downside is that after running water in the bathtub, there was a musty smell coming from underneath it. Service: The front desk staff were all very understanding and considerate. They helped us extend our stay, recognizing that the elderly traveler was tired from their journey. Transportation: If you're catching a flight the next day, this hotel is perfectly suited. There's a direct通道 connecting to the airport right next to the breakfast area, and it's about a ten-minute walk.

For the past few summers, whenever I travel with my child, we've stayed at a Crowne Plaza. The Crowne Plaza Qingdao is in a great location. While the facilities might be a bit older, the cleanliness and service are consistently excellent. What's more, the price was half of what I paid last October in Xiamen. During my stay, I received a handwritten note from Ms. Liu Fengci from the service team. Even if it's part of her routine, it still brought a warm feeling to my heart as a guest. And then there's Ms. Yu Fei from customer service, who proactively called to check on our needs during our stay. The hotel truly demonstrates the soft power of an established brand. This time, I could genuinely feel they valued and looked forward to guest feedback on their work. I rarely write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to leave my thoughts.

This stay was fantastic! The room was spotless and tidy, the bedding was super comfortable, and all the amenities worked perfectly and were easy to use. The hotel service was also excellent; the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and responsive to any requests. The location is convenient with plenty of facilities nearby. The location is great, and the service is decent; the butler was very responsive. Stepping out of the backyard leads right to a huge beach, which is perfect for kids. The indoor swimming pool is clean and not crowded, with a dedicated splash area for toddlers, which is really excellent. There's also a large outdoor pool in the backyard that's very nice. All in all, the kids loved it and had a blast. My wife, on the other hand, felt the hotel was a bit dated and wasn't too fond of it, finding parts of it a bit unclean. However, it's really just the wear and tear of time, as the hotel has been open for 15 years, so it's bound to show its age. Overall, I still think it's a very good place, and I might even go back in the future.

The hotel was okay, pretty standard. It was peak tourist season, coinciding with the Qingdao Beer Festival and various international conferences, so the staff were a bit stretched. However, the customer service team added me on WeChat and provided great service. The hotel facilities are a little dated, but still acceptable. It's about a 15-minute walk to the beach, which is quite close and convenient.
