GGuest UserTo truly experience the tipsy romance of the seaside at Qingdao Beer Time Coast, you simply have to stay in one of their unique beer-themed suites.
The entire suite is a hidden gem for beer lovers, with a living room bar and two fresh beer taps next to the scenic bathtub, providing continuous pours of frothy, malty beer that mingle with the sea breeze. You don't need to head to a pub; you can enjoy freshly brewed beer right in your room. The panoramic floor-toceiling windows frame the entire Golden Sand Beach seascape. Imagine soaking in a bathtub filled with hoppy aromas, a fresh brew in hand, as the sunset paints the sea, completely shutting out the city's hustle and bustle. The beach is just a few steps away, perfect for capturing stunning sunset photos.
The staff are gentle and patient with foreign guests, and you receive complimentary fresh beer upon check-in – the service is thoughtful and attentive. This room type is perfectly designed for those who appreciate romance and love beer. It's a secluded vacation haven for couples. Next time I visit Qingdao, I'll definitely return to this room filled with the scent of beer and the sea.

GGuest UserThe Mandarin Hotel is located on Starlight Island in the West Coast New Area, surrounded by the sea and boasting stunning island scenery. As soon as you arrive, you can feel a sense of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sea breeze creates a wonderful vacation vibe. However, there was an entertainment event on the island that day, so it was incredibly crowded.
Stepping into the hotel lobby, the elegant and grand design perfectly blends with marine elements. The glass dome and crystal chandeliers complement each other beautifully. What impressed me most was the self-playing piano in the lobby; its melodious tunes flowed under the dome, adding an artistic touch to the entire space and instantly washing away any travel fatigue.
My business twin room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic sea views. Drawing back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by the magnificent sight of the sunrise over the ocean. The room was well-equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and every detail showcased quality.
The hotel's amenities are excellent. The complimentary indoor pool has clear, well-maintained water and is a good size. It's very well-regulated; you need a swimming cap to use it, and there's also a sauna and hot spring. The gym is fully equipped, and in addition to exercise machines, there's a table tennis room and an aerobics room. The hotel garden is charming, with European-style stone carvings adding a unique flair. Just outside, there's a seaside boardwalk, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Parking and EV charging were very convenient, and the staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making my entire stay, from check-in to check-out, feel incredibly welcoming.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located on Xingguang Island in Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis. The facilities are great, and the lobby manager was incredibly attentive and helpful, even assisting me in connecting my iPad to the Wi-Fi.
The surrounding area is excellent for taking photos, but the dining options leave a bit to be desired. The hotel breakfast was just passable, and I couldn't even get a bowl of noodles for dinner. I waited ages for my order to arrive and eventually gave up – guess it was an unplanned diet!
The bar street outside was also pretty deserted at night. I imagine it only gets lively during the summer beer festival or holidays.
It's a good spot for families with kids, though, as there are plenty of parent-child activities.

YYilaiLocation & Transportation:
Right next to the terminal, with a direct elevator access. I timed it, and it's a 9-minute walk, which is very convenient. It would be perfect if they had a shuttle bus, as carrying heavy bags for 9 minutes can be a bit tiring.
Room View:
The view is, well, the airplane runway, haha.
Room Amenities:
Everything you need is there, and they even provided complimentary Qingdao specialty drinks, which was a nice touch. The only minor complaint is that the shower gel provided was a bit stingy, just enough for one shower. Definitely not enough for a bath (and I don't like using bath salts).
Service:
The Shandong ladies are all so tall! Great genes! 👍 They're good-looking, speak softly, and have a very friendly demeanor. Service gets full marks! 💯
Value for Money:
If they had a shuttle bus, the value for money would be perfect.
Breakfast:
Looks abundant, mostly carbs, and the taste was average.
WiFi:
The signal in the bathroom was a bit weak, but it was fine elsewhere.
Cleanliness:
Decent.

WWangdapiaoliangzhiyuanyuanThe room was great, with brand new facilities. The staff were very polite and checked me in quickly, which I really appreciated. I particularly loved the amazing air quality around the hotel, full of negative ions, and I could smell the fresh scent of trees. It truly felt like a retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. Just over 100 meters to the east is Baiguoshan Forest Park, and about 80 meters away is Qingyayuan, a fantastic place for wood-fired chicken soup.

Every staff member was genuinely warm and enthusiastic, providing meticulous service. The interior was clean and well-organized, with expansive views, and all amenities were fully stocked. My travel and accommodation experience was superb.

AAnonymous UserGreat location! It's a short taxi ride to May Fourth Square, Olympic Sailing Center, and Wheat Island. For Laoshan Mountain, there's a subway station right across the street, just two transfers to get there. There are tons of fantastic food options nearby! The decor has an old-money vibe, which is understandable given how long it's been around, but for an old-timer like me, it's quite charming 😂. The hotel service is excellent! The only minor drawback is the hardware in the swimming pool and bathrooms on the second basement level. Even though the pool seems to be outsourced, the staff there are all incredibly friendly!

GGuest UserI just booked this hotel on a whim, but my stay was a delightful surprise from start to finish. First off, the cleanliness was impeccable; every nook and cranny was spotless. I have to praise the bed and mattress—they were perfectly comfortable, not too soft and not too firm, ensuring a deep sleep all night long. The staff were consistently polite and enthusiastic, never intrusive but always responsive when needed. The breakfast offered a wide selection, and the made-to-order items tasted fantastic. The afternoon tea area was quiet and elegant. Overall, the quality, service, and value for money were all top-notch. I felt completely at ease spending my money here. Highly recommend!

RRaphael Alexander Rojas PlasabasWe had a wonderfully cozy stay at this hotel—it felt like a peaceful escape by the sea. The room was warm and inviting, with a stunning ocean view that made every morning feel special. We spent hours at the water park, which was clean, fun, and perfect for both kids and adults. The staff were genuinely friendly without being intrusive, and the little comforts—like plush robes, blackout curtains, and fresh pastries at breakfast—made all the difference. It's not a huge, impersonal resort, and that's exactly what we loved about it. Just a charming, relaxing getaway that we're already hoping to repeat.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel boasts a luxurious and upscale design, and the butler service was exceptional. We booked a cloud-view room, and the view outside was fantastic. The only minor drawback was the room layout, which felt a bit cramped and not very open. The breakfast buffet had a great ambiance and offered a rich variety of high-quality dishes. It wasn't one of those buffets that looks fancy but leaves you wondering what to eat; the food stations and customer flow were very well-organized. The Eggs Benedict were particularly delicious. All the soft drinks and snacks in the room were complimentary, and the book about Bloody Marys was quite interesting. I would definitely consider staying here again if the prices are more attractive during the off-peak season.
