"Hygiene: The hygiene was good. Environment: It's surrounded by a commercial area, making dining and shopping very convenient. The nearest subway station is a 10-minute walk away. From the high floor, you get a city night view. There's been a bit of air pollution these past couple of days, so the visibility wasn't great, but it still looked pretty nice."

"Choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision for traveling with elderly relatives and children. We originally booked a double room and a suite, but the front desk said the seniors could stay in a standard room, which was larger and closer to the suite, so we upgraded to a standard room for free. The standard room was slightly more expensive. The room was spacious and well-equipped. We had a very comfortable stay. It's a great choice for those traveling by car. It's a little hard to find, but calling the front desk will give you directions, and there's also underground parking, which is very convenient. Suitable for family travel. Especially during the May Day holiday, it was very cost-effective."

"**Location & Value** Good location and size for the price point. The building is actually a residential condo with local residents, which gives it an authentic feel. Connected to the mall at level 6, so convenient access to dining and shopping. Corridors are very dark. **Rooms & Comfort** Rooms are true to photos. Beds are firm but surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets provided. Fair warning though—this property is really more of a service apartment than a hotel, so manage expectations accordingly. **Cleanliness Issues** This is the main concern. Housekeeping mops the floor daily, but the water appears dirty and the floors end up grimier than before. If you're traveling with a child (as we were), you'll need to clean the floor yourself—and housekeeping will undo your work the next day. Frustrating cycle. **Breakfast & Food** Skip the hotel breakfast package—it's just delivery that you could order yourself. Better options are walking distance away. McDonald's is only 3 minutes on foot. **Service** Service is minimal to nonexistent. Asked about getting a local phone number for deliveries and the front desk was unwilling to help. Taobao/package deliveries get dumped in a communal basket with no sorting—you have to search through yourself. **Condition & Maintenance** Advertised as newly renovated in 2025, but visible wear and tear suggests low-quality renovation work. Concerns about long-term durability without proper maintenance. **Summary** Good for budget travelers who don't expect hotel amenities and don't mind doing some housekeeping yourself. The location and price are solid, but the cleanliness and service gaps are real issues."

"The hotel is located right in the heart of Dabao Island, which is an excellent location! The room was spacious, and the bathroom was also very big. Even though I booked a street-view room, it was very soundproof with the windows closed. They even included afternoon tea and evening drinks at the hotel's lovely coffee shop, which really set a great atmosphere! You can go downstairs and start exploring and eating right away, and it's also very convenient for taxis and subways. Most importantly, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with a German architectural style. They've planted lots of hydrangeas, roses, lilies, and rosemary, and there are many lounge tables and chairs. Even if you don't leave the hotel, just sitting in the courtyard and relaxing for a bit is incredibly pleasant. If I visit Qingdao again, I would definitely choose to stay here. The only downside is that because of the excellent greenery, there are mosquitoes. The room provided mosquito repellent, but I would suggest the hotel provide electric mosquito liquid repellents instead, as they would be even better."

"They greet you with a beer and two skewers upon arrival – if you're in Qingdao for the beer, this is a no-brainer! There's a Brewery No. 4 fresh beer tap right downstairs. Parking is convenient with a large lot, and there are charging stations too. It's best to charge overnight; you might have to queue during midday. It's about a 10-minute walk to Maidong Seafood Market, but the seafood there is a bit pricey, and the surrounding processing services are also on the expensive side. The room offers great value for money. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. For this price in Shinan District, it's really excellent. The hotel is located within a large complex, and the staff recommended ”Qingdao Food Night School” behind the hotel, which was also fantastic! A special thanks to the owner for the extra bottle of wine!"
