Hotels in Zhanqiao/Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, Qingdao

My parents used to bring me to Zhongshan Road often to eat grilled meat skewers and drink Qingdao's old yogurt when I was a child. Now, I want to bring my own kids to experience it. I found the Qingting Courtyard Hotel online and was told not to get a street-facing room. When I arrived, I realized the family rooms are all street-facing, but it wasn't noisy at all. It was very clean and thoughtful, with a lovely little courtyard. The laundry and drying facilities were also very convenient. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic, and the location is super convenient. Highly recommended! I'm even planning to bring my parents here to stay in a couple of days. ✌✌

My stay here exceeded expectations. The hostel was incredibly clean, the room was tidy and quiet, and the bedding was comfortable. It's conveniently located with easy access to transportation and plenty of food and drink options nearby. The bunk beds were well-equipped, and the individual lockers provided a great sense of security. The staff were friendly, and the common area was perfect for meeting fellow travelers, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The price is excellent, offering incredible value for money for backpackers. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very close to the beach, within walking distance, which is great for an evening stroll. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and provided useful tips for getting around the area. They even offered non-slip slippers for the elderly guests. The breakfast restaurant is on the twelfth floor, with a nice terrace offering sea views. The breakfast selection was quite rich, and the mini wontons were particularly delicious. When ordering takeout, a robot delivers it directly to your room door, which is very convenient.

This hotel is a hidden gem for business trips! It's peaceful yet centrally located with a great atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and get plenty of natural light, and the cleanliness is top-notch, with attention to every detail. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, including freshly cooked noodles, which are both comforting and authentic. Transportation is incredibly convenient; there are convenience stores and restaurants right downstairs, and it's easy to get to all the attractions and business districts without any detours. Yuki made the check-in process efficient and quick. Overall, it's excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Checked in at night, and my first impression was how close the hotel is to Metro Line 1, Exit D. The only issue is that the metro exit doesn't have an escalator, which isn't ideal if you're carrying large luggage. Of course, that's not the hotel's fault. The hotel's main entrance has a manual revolving door in the middle, and the side doors are quite heavy to pull open. If you have big luggage, you're better off using the revolving door unless someone is there to help you open the other doors. The hotel rooms aren't very big; in fact, they're a bit cramped. However, all the essential functions are there. The hotel's location is excellent, with a lively area downstairs, so it can be a bit noisy before 10 PM, especially on weekends. The hotel offers free laundry service, where you can either do it yourself or ask the hotel staff for help. The breakfast is generally filling, though the wontons and noodles weren't very good. The breakfast area is quite small. I stayed on the 7th floor facing west, and you could see the shops below – no sea view, unfortunately. My night's stay was otherwise fine, and the guests were all considerate and quiet. I would definitely consider this hotel again if I come back to Qingdao.

This unique hotel is tucked away in the Dabao Island district, featuring a hundred-year-old 'liyuan' (courtyard house) architecture that's distinctly Qingdao. The retro corridors and open-air courtyard create a wonderful atmosphere for photos. The location is superb, with direct subway access, and both the Zhanqiao Pier and shopping areas are within walking distance. The rooms are clean, well-insulated, and equipped with new, smart facilities. The staff are responsive and helpful. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety, and there's a cafe and Western restaurant right in the courtyard. It offers great value for money and is perfect for visitors looking to truly explore the old city.

The environment is very nice, with a small courtyard and amenities like lounge chairs and a swing. The room is also very good, a little small but enough for us. The facilities are complete. There were minor cleanliness flaws, but the service was excellent; they came to clean it again right after we called. Transportation is convenient, with a subway station right next door.

After looking at a bunch of reviews, I chose the Atour Hotel on Zhanqiao Zhongshan Road because it's super convenient. It's just one subway stop from the train station, and the hotel is right there if you turn left when you exit the subway. The Zhongshan Road pedestrian street nearby is really lively at night with lots of places to explore. They upgraded my room to the 9th floor for free, and I could even see the Catholic Church! The room was huge and very clean. I especially loved the dedicated space for luggage and shoes, and it even had a small hallway. The front desk service was excellent, and it was easy to store my luggage. Highly recommend!

First time in Qingdao, and after a long search, I chose this hotel for its excellent value. My stay was fantastic! Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was incredibly welcoming. The front desk was very helpful with recommendations for dining, entertainment, and activities. Any request for assistance was met with an immediate response. The room facilities and equipment were all new and worked perfectly. The bedding was spotless, and the room was completely dry, not humid at all. The environment was also great. After checking out, I was able to store my luggage for free, and they even offered a complimentary bottle of water when I left. The location is convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely be back, and will recommend it to my family and friends.
