Hotels in Zhanqiao/Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, Qingdao

The boss helped to introduce the suite with the luggage, which was bigger than expected. The yard rooms are well organized, clean and tidy. Two bottles of water and two bottles of Lushan Coke and two refrigerator stickers are presented. It is suitable for friends who want to experience the local life of the old house. It is a few hundred meters away from the subway. The fruit and wood plants in the yard are lush. The flowering period is definitely beautiful. The house is very cost-effective. Next time you come to book a large suite in advance.

The hotel is located in the old city, very close to Qingdao Station, within walking distance. It's about 1 kilometer from Zhanqiao Pier, so overall, the transportation is quite convenient. The hotel opened last year, so the facilities are relatively new. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and the room is cleaned well daily. Breakfast is a bit simple with limited choices. We booked a family room, which was quite spacious and not expensive, offering good value for money.

The B&B is quite close to Dabao Island, so transportation is convenient. The biggest difference between a youth hostel/B&B and a hotel is that it's less regulated, more casual, free, and warm. Both times I messaged the owner with a request, they brought the items up very quickly. After checking out, a sudden downpour made my shoes muddy, so I went back to ask if I could rinse my feet. The owner was very kind and found a way to take me to the small garden to wash them with the watering hose, even thoughtfully adjusting the water temperature. Before we left, the rain stopped, and seeing us with all our bags, the owner enthusiastically gave us a bag to carry our umbrella, which we could hang on our suitcase. When we checked in, we saw cat food and a cat house, but no cat. I asked and learned that a stray cat loves to wander into the shop. The owner took it for a check-up and cleaning, then made a home for it here, allowing it to come and go as it pleases. On the afternoon we left, we happened to see it napping on a chair – so adorable! Overall, the atmosphere is very positive, warm, and loving. The first floor connects to a cafe, making it easy to buy coffee; I recommend the 'Hop Americano.' We stayed in a twin room on the fourth floor; it was clean and tidy, with a wet/dry separation for the shower and toilet. The view outside the window was excellent, and the soundproofing was good. The only minor drawback is that the toilet room is a bit small, with too little space between the toilet and the front wall, making it impossible to lean forward when using it. However, this is a minor flaw that doesn't detract from the overall experience, and I would choose this B&B again!

Xiaoshe is in a close location at the subway station. It is more convenient to travel and play. The recommendation and travel guide sent by customer service are very good! It is to eat seafood in Qingdao, fried, salt and pepper, forget the taboo, the child is recruited, not very fun. Qingdao is suitable for living and slowly strolling for two or three days. Very beautiful city! It's a pity! Next time, let the child take me, slow down, and feel the beauty of Qingdao.

The two front desk staff were very helpful and attentive, proactively greeting guests at the elevator. However, I must complain about the cleanliness. I usually stay at Lavande or Seasonal hotels, and this is the first time I've encountered such a disgusting room. (See picture above). The toilet drainage was terrible, worse than public restrooms in the Qingdao subway. It took two flushes to clean, incredibly slow. In some places, the paint was peeling off the walls. The chairs were unusable; it was disgusting. The phone was filthy; couldn't they have wiped it? The floor wasn't clean either. Thankfully, the bed was clean. Is this a newly opened hotel this year? Even though it's the off-season in Qingdao, is this how you treat guests? The room is smaller than a typical Lavande, and the hotel is just a street corner. I strongly suggest the hotel improve its sanitation and cleaning services. Don't contact me by phone; I won't delete this review. This is a genuine feedback I want everyone to see.

The only advantage is that it is close to the Zhanqiao scenic area and the subway entrance. The boss is very enthusiastic. Seeing that there are few people in the off-season, he took the elderly and moved us from the basement to the first floor. We were the only residents for those two days. But the area is small, the wooden floor has dents, the air conditioner is old and noisy, the warm air has a burnt smell, the bathroom is only wide enough to turn around, and the faucet always falls off.
