"It was a very satisfying stay overall. The staff were friendly and responded quickly whenever I needed assistance. Thanks to Liu and Ding, I was able to stay very comfortably. I really appreciate their help. Location – The location is very convenient. It’s within about a 10-minute walk to Wanxiangcheng and around 5 minutes to May Fourth Square. It was also easy to catch a taxi right in front of the hotel. Room – The room was spacious and apartment-style, which makes it a great option for stays longer than one night. It was clean, and the slippers were replaced daily. The refrigerator was large, and having a separate living room makes it especially suitable for families. The only minor downside was that the bathroom shower head was quite small and a bit inconvenient to use. I brought a portable shower head, which worked well for me. And the hair dryier was not that good. Overall, it was a very satisfying place to stay. I had a great experience."

"The room was very clean and well-equipped, with individually packaged disposable towels. The bed and bedding were quite comfortable, and I slept well. The location is excellent; it's a two-minute walk from Metro Line 3 right into the building. The views are fantastic, with the sea on the left and mountains on the right. The surrounding lights at night are also very pretty, and they dim down around bedtime, so they don't disturb your sleep. It's very convenient to get to attractions by bus and subway. I visited all the places I wanted to, like the beach, the ferry, and the Qingdao Beer Museum. There are also large shopping centers nearby like MixC and Ginza, making dining and shopping super convenient!"

"Visited the hotel on the day of the Navy Festival, after touring active warships. The lady at the front desk was beautiful and spoke sweetly, providing excellent service – big thumbs up! The room was very tidy, and the bed was comfortable. I walked over 20,000 steps every day during my stay, so getting good rest at night was crucial and I slept wonderfully! The hotel is practically right outside a metro station, making it super convenient to get to various attractions in Qingdao. It's also just a ten-minute walk to May Fourth Square, which is very handy! Within a two-minute walk from the hotel, there's a cluster of quick-service restaurants, offering bento boxes, dumplings, stir-fries, and a supermarket. After a long day, it was great to have simple and quick dinner options! And I didn't get an upset stomach once, which was a huge plus! All three aspects – food, accommodation, and transportation – were excellent. The hotel even included a breakfast with both Western and Chinese options: soy milk, fried dough sticks, coffee, bread, and a wide variety of dishes and drinks. Delicious! Absolutely fantastic! Truly lives up to its four-star rating!"

"Lv Feng Hotel is strategically located in the heart of Shinan District. It’s just a 5-minute walk to The Mixc Shopping Mall, where you can find almost everything. Luckin Coffee is right next door, which is a big plus for coffee lovers. The MRT station is also only about a 5-minute walk away. The room is spacious and well-equipped. The room I stayed in offers a view of Qingdao TV Tower, and I could also enjoy the sunset. 赵姐 from the housekeeping team is very attentive and does a great job—kudos to her! One of my favourite things about the room is this multifunctional machine (as shown in the picture). It works as an air conditioner, heater, and dehumidifier, which made the stay very comfortable."

"## ”A Breathtaking” Name, Yet No Breathtaking Sleep: My Disappointing Luxury Stay I originally planned to stay at the Qingdao Wusi Plaza Seaview Meilunhuan Hotel for my entire trip to Qingdao. I chose it for its Huazhu Club 'luxury line' positioning and the promise of a hassle-free experience. To be honest, the location and room layout were indeed good, but the significant gap in service and attention to detail led me to switch hotels after just a few nights. First, let's talk about the pros (which were my reasons for choosing it): * **Excellent Location and View:** It’s close to the subway station, making it convenient for getting around. The rooms offer expansive views, either of the city or the sea, and the room layouts themselves are comfortable. * **Good Basic Hardware:** As a relatively new luxury line hotel, the decor style is on point. Now, for the detailed issues that made me “quit mid-stay” (and greatly impacted my sleep): 1. **A Soul-Searching Question: Why are the pillows worse than an All Seasons?** This was the most critical point. As someone who relies heavily on good hotel sleep, I barely got any rest during my stay. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable; their support and firmness were far inferior to those at an All Seasons hotel, which costs half as much. For a luxury hotel, if basic sleep quality cannot be guaranteed, even the best view is pointless. Several nights of poor sleep directly led to me being completely out of sorts during the daytime activities. 2. **Hot Water Pressure “Blamed” on Property Management, Lacking Emergency Plans** One evening, the hot water pressure was extremely low, making for a terrible shower experience. The explanation I received was “an issue with the property management.” For a hotel in this price range, guests only care about whether they can have a hot shower, not who supplies the water. If there are frequent fluctuations from property management, the hotel should have its own booster or backup plan, rather than making guests put up with it. 3. **Inconsistent Service, Lacking Huazhu Luxury Feel** * **Housekeeping is Average:** The cleaning staff were quite careless, likely just resetting things without much attention to detail. * **Lack of Proactive Greetings:** On a few occasions, I encountered staff in the elevator who either averted their gaze or looked down at their phones, never offering a greeting or a smile. This is something that even strict Hanting Premium hotels within the Huazhu Club system do better. 4. **Breakfast Doesn't Match the Price** The breakfast selection was not very rich, and the taste was mediocre. For a luxury line offering, it felt a bit sparse and lacked any memorable highlights. **Summary:** If you're looking for the convenient location of Wusi Plaza and good views, the basic room layout of this hotel is worth considering. However, if you're coming for the premium service experience and deep sleep promised by Huazhu Club, you might find yourself as disappointed as I was. There's a noticeable gap in attention to detail (especially with pillows and hot water stability) compared to established mid-to-high-end hotels. I hope the hotel can truly embody the name “Meilunhuan” (Breathtaking) by ensuring guests' sleep quality, rather than just having it on the signage and in the views."

"The hotel has a great location, with plenty of food options nearby, including delicious local snacks and even a KFC. Transportation is super convenient, as the subway station is right downstairs. Plus, you can even get food delivered directly to your room."

The location is excellent, right at Exit E of the May Fourth Square subway station, making travel very convenient. It offers incredible value for money, far exceeding my expectations. "The rooms were great. We stayed in two different single king rooms over two days and were very happy with both. The tatami room was very spacious, and the sea-view room had excellent views with a huge window. The bed was large and very comfortable. The soundproofing was also good. Most importantly, the price was cheap, offering excellent value for money. The owner was very kind and almost always replied instantly to my WeChat messages. When I changed rooms, I left some items behind, and the cleaning staff even brought them up to me. The location is excellent, right next to MixC shopping mall and May Fourth Square, with metro and bus stations in both directions, making it very convenient for getting around. Ordering takeout was also easy, with most deliveries arriving within about ten to fifteen minutes."
