"The front desk staff were very welcoming and even upgraded our room. The room was spacious, with a sofa, coffee table, and a desk, making it perfect for families with children, and even for getting some work done. We could see the church right outside our window, and the night view was also beautiful. The breakfast spread was exceptionally rich and delicious, offering a wide variety including noodles, wontons, and rice vermicelli. There were also several hot dishes, all tasting great. The slightly older auntie with glasses who was cooking noodles and wontons at the live station was incredibly kind and friendly. She was bustling around, working up a sweat, yet she always greeted every customer with a smile and a lot of patience – truly wonderful! The restaurant window directly overlooks Pichai Yuan downstairs. The hotel's location is excellent, right at the entrance of Zhongshan Road, very close to the subway station, and convenient for taxis. It's also within easy walking distance to many attractions."

While the restaurant space is a bit small, it doesn't detract from the experience or quality. Many hotels might offer their own unique features, but the following point truly exceeded my expectations: **3. Culture:** The hotel provides its own meticulously crafted tour guides and maps, which are incredibly thoughtful and useful. Moreover, the art pieces, books, and old photos of the neighborhood displayed in the public areas not only help guests understand the local culture but also elevate their spiritual satisfaction. What's truly commendable is that the hotel's 'big boss,' DK, is present in the lobby daily, engaging directly with both local and international guests, and is always eager to share insights on travel and city history. The books mentioned earlier are also from his recommended reading list – kudos to him! I even ordered one online right then and there."

"The room was quite spacious, and the TV allowed for screen mirroring, plus you could play music! The overall hygiene was excellent, very clean. The small table was also movable, and the toilet was a smart one. Overall, it's a great place to stay, especially since it's a newly opened hotel and the price is very reasonable."

"The location is excellent! The hotel is right outside the building, with direct access to the subway station (Lines 2 and 3) underground. The famous Licun Night Market is also right outside. The service is excellent! They're very responsive! The restaurant is on the 8th floor, and the service there is also very courteous. There's a laundry room on the 9th floor. Two small suggestions: 1. Please provide baskets and laundry bags for both dirty and clean clothes in the laundry room! 2. There was a very noticeable backflow odor from the drain in the room!"

The hotel's rooftop is a popular spot for photos. The room was incredibly spacious, and I noticed they have a family-themed floor, which I'd love to try next time. The location is excellent, right by the subway exit. I actually found staying near Zhanqiao Pier more convenient than May Fourth Square, as many attractions are in that area. Overall, the experience was better than the hotels near May Fourth Square."

"This is a new Holiday Inn that opened this year. My Didi driver told me the whole building was brand new on the way there. It's located right in the city center, making it super convenient to get around by taxi – not far from restaurants or attractions. It's also very close to the Beer Museum. The front desk staff was incredibly nice. Seeing I had a child with me, they upgraded us to a suite with an unbeatable view. The laundry room and gym are both open 24/7, accessible with your room key. Housekeeping was also prompt and thorough. The breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee – it really hit the spot for me. Looking forward to my next visit to Qingdao! 🤗"
