Huaqi Kaiserdom Hotel location is amazing. It’s situated in the old part of Qindao and surrounded by old European style buildings. It’s a real pleasure to walk along tiny streets filled with beautiful buildings, cafes and souvenirs stalls. It’s very close to Qindao Railway station.
The room itself was quite big and cosy, if you like old fashion style. However the beds were too hard for us. Also this hotel can become much better if they pay more attention to the cleanliness. When you touch some surfaces, especially the once in the bathroom, they are sticky.🥴
The staff there was extremely friendly, nice and helpful. They even upgraded our room to the one with a window. They don’t speak English, but they were trying very hard to help.

The room is big and the service is very good👍. High cost performance.
The location is very convenient. St. Michael's Church is just a few minutes' walk away. There are many places to eat near the hotel, and there are snacks in the evening. For lunch, I recommend 1937 Qingdao Cuisine.

First, the hotel does not provide mineral water. The hotel is on the fourth floor and the elevator requires a card, which means that the takeaway cannot be delivered and you have to go downstairs to get it yourself.
Second, the room is really very cold. The air conditioner is set to 30 degrees and the room temperature is 14 degrees. At first, there was a small electric heater. After using it for a day, the hotel owner forced the electric heater away in order to save electricity and money. If he didn't give it to me, he kept bothering me at the door, endlessly.
