Popular Qingdao 4-star Hotels

I always stay at the Holiday inn when traveling to Qingdao. The staff are incredible and speak English. The facilities are nice and clean and check in is a breeze. The location is perfect for access to any facility or bar downtown

My friend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express during our trip to Qingdao. Initially, we had high expectations of the hotel especially since my friend had experienced what Holiday Inn was like in a previous city which was a very good experience. However, our expectations were no met😕 at this hotel. Overall, it was not a bad stay because the hotel was at a good location (there's a mall literally behind the hotel, lots of restaurants and 5 min walk from the subway station) and the staff at the front dest were nice. However, the food, on trip.com, it notes there's western breakfast but there was not! The breakfast was a basic Chinese breakfast so we were not satisfied with the breakfast at all. Additionally, the hotel needs to be diligent about cleaning the bathrooms. You need to actually scrub the bathroom and not just wipe it down! The shower and around the face basin had mold which was very disgusting and disturbing 🤢. Please do better! Otherwise, we had a good stay. The bed and pillows were so soft, we felt like we were sleeping on clouds 😍😁. We also loved that the lobby had free popcorn for the guests to take 😄.

Good location, dood service, but pretty outdated indoor layout and facilities on a WIFI date when we need charging many of our devices daily. Indoor pool was closed on my visit date without any prior / formal notice, just a girl told me that they need several days to change the water.

The room was amazing! It was spacious with everything I wanted: mini fridge, microwave, ice bucket. My floor (33) had a private elevator and a laundry room. The hotel breakfast was good with a great view of the square & ocean and pretty good coffee.

I am very satisfied with traveling with my children. The hotel service is very attentive, welcome fruits, tea, and small gifts for children are very considerate. The room was very clean, not big, but clean and tidy. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good👍From the hotel front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the aunties who clean the floor, they are all very enthusiastic and smiling! You can see the sea view outside the window, and the seaside is across the road. It is very comfortable to go for a walk in the evening. After leaving the hotel, the girl at the front desk gave the child a snack! Really considerate❤

It's a long history hotel in town. Well cleaned, the location is in the city centre and it's very easy to get a taxi to everywhere. The price is very good.

Great hotel if you're coming to visit Qingdao. It was quite of a challenge to find an affordable yet nice hotel that accommodates foreigners and I wasn't disappointed a bit in may choice to stay at Hai Tian Grand Hotel. Breakfast buffet was great, rooms are clean and with a good view.

Here's an interesting fact for fellow Americans who grew up with Holiday Inn: the Holiday Inn chain in China is nothing like the Holiday Inn of old back in the States. In China, it's actually nice. Two words: free laundry. Washers, dryers and detergents. I pack a week's worth of clothing even if I'm in town for several weeks. 3rd floor, can't miss it. Breakfast is decent. The rooms are clean and smoke free is actually smoke free. Bottled water and other amenities and necessities are readily available. Wifi speed is decent. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small minimalist exercise room with dumbbells and a couple other pieces of equipment. The location....I love the location. Chenyang district is an hour North of the better known Shinan district (the seaside that you see in all the tourist Instagram crap). Line 1 metro, Didi or taxi. Within a 5 minute walk of the hotel you'll find more than a hundred restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a cinema and more. That's no joke. You could spend a couple weeks just trying them all. They're in the process of building a new metro station across the street. Right now the closest station is maybe a 10-15 min walk. And this area has more of a small city feel to it with a lot less of the tourist nonsense down by the coast. It isn't the least or most expensive hotel in the area, but it's one of the best values in my opinion.

The hotel is across the road from May 4th Square and very close to the subway. The location is super strategic. There are not many tourists in Qingdao in winter. The lady at the front desk was super cute and nice. She upgraded my room for free. The room is quite spacious, and the overall decoration is mainly blue-based, simple and elegant. As a senior scalding bath enthusiast, he said that he is really satisfied with the shower at his home. The water is very large and can be adjusted to be very hot. It is very refreshing after washing and the shower gel smells pretty good. Because the room is far away from the atrium and not facing the street, the overall sound insulation is very good, and the bedding is comfortable, so I can sleep deeply Very satisfied with the stay experience, will come again next time ~

The hotel is relatively remote, 1 hour drive from the city, but the listing four stars is very good, and the booked picture is in line. Due to the change of the itinerary, the customer service and the hotel front desk helped to deal with it, very enthusiastic. The family room is a two-bedroom suite, central air-conditioning, projection ➕ TV, double bathroom, first-class environment, newer facilities, general dining, business travel or higher living requirements can be considered.
