I was so pleasantly surprised by this suite that I booked. It was so spacious and had everything one might need: two bathrooms, dining room, massage chair, treadmill, spacious living room area, kitchen, full refrigerator and desk area! I thoroughly enjoyed the space. The location is down the street from the airport, and within a complex so it is difficult for DiDi drivers to find. Overall, the hotel suite was lovely!

I chose this one for a temporary transfer in Qingdao. There is a pick-up and drop-off place. The pick-up place is at Gate 4 on the first floor. Call the hotel and send a car. The driver will contact you again. It takes about ten minutes. The hotel is a remodeled apartment building. The special double room also has a washing machine and a refrigerator. There is enough space for one person, and the overall maintenance is relatively clean. The bathroom is not too big, and the wet and dry are not separated. There is 711 and another supermarket downstairs. There is no problem with replenishment. The drop-off is half an hour. No appointment is needed. You can arrive ten minutes in advance. The sound insulation is really average, the voice of the next door can be heard, but it's not bad to overdo it

I stayed here on my last night so that I could be near the airport. To that end, the hotel is situated about 10 minutes from the airport! The overall experience was meh, but that could be because I have high expectations. The room was neat and clean. The amenities and layout of the room was a bit odd. The bathtub and sink were spacious, but not secluded from the rest of the room which was a bit odd. The room was listed as “non-smoking” but I could definitely smell hints of smoke in the room. The breakfast was the biggest let down as it was not western at all as it is advertised! Unless one considers fruit “western” there were only Chinese options: no proper coffee was offered. I ended up ordering KFC in the end. I also requested and was granted late checkout, but was woken up by an employee’s call regarding not checking out on time. This is a hotel for someone who is not particular about amenities and wants to merely be close to the airport.

Here's an interesting fact for fellow Americans who grew up with Holiday Inn: the Holiday Inn chain in China is nothing like the Holiday Inn of old back in the States. In China, it's actually nice. Two words: free laundry. Washers, dryers and detergents. I pack a week's worth of clothing even if I'm in town for several weeks. 3rd floor, can't miss it. Breakfast is decent. The rooms are clean and smoke free is actually smoke free. Bottled water and other amenities and necessities are readily available. Wifi speed is decent. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small minimalist exercise room with dumbbells and a couple other pieces of equipment. The location....I love the location. Chenyang district is an hour North of the better known Shinan district (the seaside that you see in all the tourist Instagram crap). Line 1 metro, Didi or taxi. Within a 5 minute walk of the hotel you'll find more than a hundred restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a cinema and more. That's no joke. You could spend a couple weeks just trying them all. They're in the process of building a new metro station across the street. Right now the closest station is maybe a 10-15 min walk. And this area has more of a small city feel to it with a lot less of the tourist nonsense down by the coast. It isn't the least or most expensive hotel in the area, but it's one of the best values in my opinion.

The lady at the front desk, Maomao, was really attentive and asked us to add our corporate WeChat account so that we could contact her directly if there was anything we needed. I was thinking we would just stay one night. They were so attentive and thoughtful. Later, it was because it was my boyfriend's birthday, so he ordered a cake in advance and put it at the front desk. By the time we checked in, it was already 9 o'clock, and he even sent us birthday noodles, which was very considerate! There is also a fruit plate and small toys provided at the back. The most attentive thing is that the fruit plate also has the initials of my boyfriend written on it. It is really easy to be moved at night. With so many details of Miss Maomao, I will definitely order it next time I come to Qingdao. Live here! Let’s talk about the room: the bathtub is equipped with disposable mats and fragrant bath balls for bathing. The screen projection is also very good ~ you can open it as a member and watch everything. I went to the Beer Museum and gave away a lot of beer, and I still want to go back to the hotel. How to keep it cold? When I returned to the room, I found that there was a cold drink cabinet. It was really thoughtful. Is it a must-have cold beer for Qingdao people? The bathroom is also a smart toilet that can be heated. It has many functions. Finally, I would like to say that if you like this kind of considerate service, you must book this hotel!
