Thumbs up -I must say . Almost all staff is very friendly and helpful. Even the room cleaners is very friendly and helpful. Thumbs up again for the concierge staff as well . I specifically recommend this 海尔洲际酒店宾客关系部的 Ivy 王家旸 and one of the cleaning departments lady which I forget to get her name -(she is new trained - 2 month only ) date 11 jan . Room 1256 . She is very caring and helpful. I was rather upset with the morning breakfast staff - all is so unprofessional. Training shld be mandatory to all the staff . They will rather rude and no respect to guest . I do not wish to explain too much on my unpleasant experiences here .

Well, Crown Plaza is our usual our favorite hotel and also our first-choice hotel in Qingdao city and naturally chose the Crowne Plaza Qingdao again. The hotel hasn’t lost any of its avantgarde charm. Furthermore, the employees are still as professional and helpful as I remember them from the last time (this time I would like to mention Ms. Fanny from the front desk, hassel-free check in that was quick and we were given a free upgrade) . The rooms are spacious, and the amenities will cater to every whim. The convenient location is an added bonus, which doesn’t need to be mentioned separately as the hotel location which is near to five four squares.

Disappointing experience due to some confusing information about the food services. When i checked in at 6pm, I was told that the main restaurant was already closing and that I should order from room service. The instructions for room service were misleading and hard to follow because of new qr codes that were not properly connected to the hotel system. The phone next to the menu (and the bed) and menu card with instructions did not work. At one point, I went down to the lobby to ask for help. After three hours of trying to get food, i gave up and left the hotel to find a restaurant. As a result, I did not have enough time to use the pool, which was my main reason for checking into the hotel for the last day of my vacation to celebrate my birthday. Someone from the front desk tried to help, but I think there was a lot of confusion about the qr codes. I could leave more details, but I will just say that later that night I found other instructions about dialling 0 later in very small print. If it had been clearer, I would not have used the QR codes which were far bigger than the text about dialling 0. The bathroom was nice, but a bit worn down. The breakfast could be better. Definitely did not feel like a Westin experience.

Very convenient, very caring hotel, must like it. Traveling alone with the two children, accidentally hit Kunlun, convenient for windsurfing in the Olympic Sailing Center, and unexpectedly gained this hotel with first-class service. Upon check-in, the room was upgraded (it was originally a twin room, but the old mother didn't sleep well and had a separate bed), and moved into a family room with two beds in one big and one small bed. It was just right for the three of us. Only 3 minutes away from the camp, the children even changed their clothes, went downstairs, and walked back to take a bath after class. Starting in the afternoon, there will be fruit plates and small snacks every day. The children will have replenishment when they return to the room every day after windsurfing. The manager Yang Cheng also sent a dehumidifier. The service details are really well done. People who have never been at the beach do feel that the air is humid, and there are wetsuits that need to be washed every day, and the humidity in the room is very heavy. With this dehumidifier, I don’t know how comfortable it is~ Before leaving, the manager, Mr. Yang, also helped communicate the location with the driver to ensure that the old mother and the two children got in the car under the surveillance of the hotel camera. I took my children to Qingdao for a second trip. Since I only stayed for three days, I wanted to find a comfortable, sanitary, and leisurely homestay close to the sea, so I chose sea fishing and it was very leisurely just listening to the name. The lady boss is very enthusiastic, attentive, and diligent. The homestay is a remodeled from the seaside dwelling on the first floor. The walls in the public area of the homestay are the exhibition of the boss’s fishing achievements, as well as fishing equipment. There is a courtyard in front of the house, which runs through several rooms facing the sea. Across the yard is the sea dam, and one or two hundred meters along the dam can reach the Lover Dam. From the stone ladder of the dam, you can go down to the beach and catch the sea to play in the water. Take the kids to catch crabs every night. By the way, the close-up waves hit the roar of the reef and feel the power of the sea. It is also very close to the Olympic Sailing Center. Due to time, it is a bit regretful that I have not had time to take my children to experience sailing. Next time, take your children to stay for a few more days and experience the wit of leisurely life by the sea.
