There are many types of breakfast, more than many international restaurants of the same level, but the taste can be improved a bit Although there were only two bottles of water in the guest room, I called to ask for 4 bottles and 4 more bottles were given as a gift. There is really nothing wrong with traveling by car with friends, because the main focus is on having fun. If you want to go on vacation at the Sheraton or New World Resort, that is another matter. But if you are traveling by car, go to Shangyue Village, Taohua Lake, Ying Xifenglin Tea Garden is an excellent choice, and even Xiakuo 1st Street, Qifengli, and Xianfeng Middle Road City Walk are good choices.

The view of the river from the guest room window is superb, and the scenery is beautiful in the morning and evening. The waiters are attentive and proactive in asking guests for their needs. Worth a thumbs up. The hotel has many restaurants to choose from, which is really good. The only drawback is that the bed is too hard and the hot water in the hot water heater freezes quickly. We had an absolute great time staying at KHOS for a family trip, just for one night but we enjoyed the hot springs waters at night and the facilities for children during day time. A lot of options to enjoy with family. The staff was great super helpful and nice and the room super nice, very spacious and with nice view. The food was also good but breakfast has not many western options. Overall is a great experience worth the price, great option for a weekend away from the city. I have to say I went during weekday with not many people.

Ge Hao holiday hotel has been renamed as KYRIAD MARVELOUS HOTEL.. It is centrally situated within the shopping mall.Many restaurants. It is within short walk to all busy shops & restaurants. In fact this hotel was built in the OLD Qingyuan city.. The counter staffs helpful , and teach us how to log into wifi. I had stayed here 14 years ago. Night market open daily just nearby. The hotel rate is affordable for us seniors.

The quality of the James Joyce Coffetel chain is good. I have stayed here a few times, and when I saw one in Qingyuan on the Internet, I decided to choose it. This hotel is relatively new, with large rooms, complete facilities, and good hygiene. The room type I booked also has a large balcony, but unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy tea on the balcony when I arrived late. There is breakfast and a cup of freshly ground coffee, which tastes okay. There is an underground free parking lot, which is more convenient for tourists who drive by themselves. The room where I live is outside the road, it is not very quiet in the morning, and I can ignore the good sleep.

Our stay at the Sheraton Lion Lake Hotel can be summarised in one word, disappointing. I believe this was/has the potential to be a lovely hotel to visit. The hotel and its grounds are massive, however, most areas are closed and there is a general feeling of abandonment. Fountains and water features are empty, shops closed, grass is overgrown and facilities a little dated and tired. The indoor pool and one of the restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was not very clean. What it did have was excellent customer service, the Moroccan theme was very cool and the rooms overlooking the lake were clean and had a lovely balcony. Overall, not worth the money. If you are looking for a base to sight-see Qingyuan, there are much cheaper hotels around and if you are wanting to enjoy a staycation this will be a disappointment.
