Quatre Bornes Hotels with Airport pickup service

Prices of hotels in Mauritius can be high, especially those to the coast. Palms Horel offered a quite good solution in Quatre Bornes: it’s affordable (about 60 EUR a night) and not that far from more touristic places (about 30 min drive to the Capital, Port Louis, or the beaches of Flic en Flac). We were there for a 1-week business meeting. Facilities were very good. And any issues (happened) were very quickly solved by the staff …the staff (all, from the reception desk to the hotel manager) is definitely the key of Palms. Incredibly nice and helpful. The lady managing the meeting room area (and the coffee breaks) is a gem. The man and lady keeping the bar, the ladies in the restaurant and those at the reception were so nice. The Hotel staff was so helpful to accommodate on short notice for our Muslim colleagues who started the fasting of Ramadan during the meeting). And all issues linked to payment supposed to be done in advance (meeting room, 17 bedrooms) were dealt with in full confidence when on site! Thank you for that Ms Manager! The hotel is in ebene, similar to the high-tech park, it is convenient to the office, the hotel breakfast is OK, there is not a gym, but the facilities are more practical. Parking is very convenient with lots of parking spaces. The service staff is enthusiastic and many needs can be resolved in a timely manner.

This property exceeded our expectations because of the wonderful services and staff. The room #2 was directly beside a small pool that offered shaded swims after a warm day. The room itself had a fridge , microwave and a bolted room safe. It was a good size room with a workspace for us as we tidied up bus for the next few months. TV with a small variety to watch and an air. conditioner. The property offered a significant and varied breakfast including a fresh juicer for orange juice. The varied menu included items such as sweet rolls, fresh breads and occasionally crepes. The crepes my husband stated you couldn’t eat just one of with hazelnut and bananas . He enjoyed his samosa and hot sauce when they were offered. As well as breaded vegetables and crispy rolls to sit beside your choice of eggs. Those were my favourite a plain omelette unfolded to add cheese and ham or chicken slices with hot sauce, fries when they were available. With a yoghurt and fruit. Plenty of tea and coffee ti wash it down with and of course cereals for the kids. Services such as a juice upon arrival to fill out you paperwork, set the tone as our hostess discussed the tours available. We used shuttles to and from Flic en Flac beach or Cascavelle Mall were perfect for our adventure . We shopped both at Jumbo Express down on the corner at the beach area, as well as the Cascavelle Mall. We were further encouraged to jump on buses to go to Port Louis and La Morne look out or further beyond to Cao Baie. While we did not feel the need to rent a car and drive about there were many people who had taken advantage of the inexpensive rentals. This atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Chill friendly and full relaxed, We loved Flic en Flac beach that seemed to go on forever and although we came to this area to dive which was very disappointing for reef and fish. We loved everything else it offered.

The hotel is not too far from the seaside and it takes half an hour to walk. The price is very reasonable, so this location is ok. Other conveniences are also very good, the only bad thing is that eating is not very convenient. The hotel kitchen is very simple and nothing to eat.

The location of the hotel is average, although there is no beach at the beach, the only thing is very secluded. The yard where the hotel is located is very large and there are many houses for short and medium term rental. Hotel facilities are relatively old, but it is a bit special, the hotel lobby is not big, the bird cage inside is feeding a few birds. The service is OK. If you have dinner, there are two restaurants, one bar to choose from, and one that is open to Asian restaurants opened by Malaysians. The price of the local restaurant below is acceptable. The hotel's WIFI is very poor and often does not receive signals in the rooms.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff and the service was phenomenal. Property has enough facilities to make stay conventional and occupied. I have to make a special mention as I celebrated my 60th birthday at Anelia. It's a wow moment for me seeing all the arrangement and staff caring of me. I carry wishes of all the people at Annelia. Some minor issues can be taken care else it's a memorable and comfortable stay.

I booked room for 2 adults and 1 kid 10 years old and right from day 1 hotel staff said kid can not stay in superior room.i was given room saying I will be told if any extra payment is required but no one told anything untill chkout when I was asked to pay MUR 3000 extra for kid stay while I did not ask for extra bed or brkfast for kid bcoz as per booking voucher same was not applicable.when I refused to make extra payment I was threatened of police action as if I am a thief.this is not the way customer should b treated.also seems there was communication gap on part of trip.com to pass on booking requirements.
