Great location: 10-15 min walk to the old city
Spectacular view: My husbnd and I stayed at a old city / river view room
Great restaurant in the Looby: we arrived at the hotel around 9:30pm, didn’t have much option for late dinner. We had ‘Beef Cheek’ and ‘Black Cod’ at Cabu. Food was amazing! We loved food so much, went back to their grab & go/ coffee bar after we checked out.
Other things: Nice to have Nespresso machine and Crabtree amenities

It was a short stay to visit Quebec City during the holiday week, and we had a good experience. The hotel staff were very attentive, and I was delighted that they upgraded our room and had free breakfast for two during our entire stay. Service was fast and they answered some of our questions related to commuting. The location is great as it is in the street filled with restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies. Will choose this location again when we come back to Quebec.

The staff here are extemporary, some of the best I have come across, including within top hotels. They were all professional, polite, friendly and helpful, all smiles and nothing was too much trouble. Advice on tourist spots, directions, where the locals eat etc was all given without prompting. We wanted a kettle for the room, they provided a flask to fill with hot water. Luggage was carried for us. Each and every one was constantly smiling. Catherine in particular was fantastic. Elevator not working (stairs with large suitcases was not good) Location: Need a taxi or 2 buses or 30 minutes (uphill) walk from Old Quebec. Pizza restaurant next door, Subway and local pub on Corner and supermarket just down road. Room. Clean and tidy. Housekeeping not available due to Covid (which didn't make sense - surely Covid a reason to be cleaner!) A little on small side. Breakfast - disappointing. Kitchen closed due to Covid still (although many others now open). An apple, Croissant & carton orange juice in a bag left a lot to be desired. Parking at the back (although we didn't use it). Swimming pool - not the best but perfectly adequate, warm (once you were in) and clean. Towels provided. Room, facilities and staff, yes I would use again - its value for money. Location put me off.

We were delighted to stay in this new and very clean property twice on our way to and from the Maritimes. It was a very convenient stopover, close to the highway and other amenities. There is lots of free outdoor parking. The room (with 2 queens) was spacious and had everything we needed, including a small fridge. The bathroom was quite large. The outdoor pool was small (more of a hot tub), yet pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, easy access to the room both from outside and inside. The hotel is clean and modern. We had a good continental breakfast, where the hostesses were very prompt and helpful. We spent 3 days, we enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed for about 2 weeks and found it very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen was easy to use, comfortable and clean. The room and bed were clean and in order. Pillowcases, sheets and towels were clean and satisfactory. The shared toilets and showers were also clean and easy to use. The staffs were very kind and friendly. I would stay here again on my next visit to Quebec.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe location was a big decision in choosing this hotel and it did not disappoint! It is literally in the center of everything and steps away from sights, shopping, restaurants but also away from the noise of bus loads of tourists. The security of the hotel was a great bonus as a solo female traveler! Staff was friendly, the rooms/common areas were always spotless and the decor makes this place a unique spot for sure. I simply loved it and will absolutely be back.
Wonderful stay - the property is as charming as it is convenient. We had the studio with kitchen on the ground floor. The back door opened right to our private parking space so it was really easy to get around. Everything was spotless and well appointed. We checked out the terrace but of course it was cold and covered in snow. It’s sure to be wonderful during warmer months. The guest portal is very helpful. This was our first visit to Quebec City and our son’s first visit out of the US - this made a terrific first impression! There are restaurants and shops up and down the street. We would definitely book again in the future. Thanks especially to Jade, who was consistently patient with my questions!
TtravellaloneThis hotel is located just across the road from the Esplanade Park with several of the attractions in old Quebec City within walking distance. It also houses an Asian restaurant named “Apsara” which is immensely popular and is full of customers every evening. Dealing with this hotel even before we showed up had been quite satisfactory as we had to change our dates that were accommodated. We received the most needed help from this hotel when we were lost and couldn’t find our way to the hotel (when we were actually within 2/3 minutes’ walking distance from the hotel). I walked to the hotel while my wife was in the car a few hundred meters away, and a young employee of the hotel accompanied me to my car and led me to the parking spot that was arranged with another hotel quite close by. We had a long and tiring day and this gesture helped us tremendously. As requested, we were allotted a room upstairs overlooking Esplanade park. Nice room, bathroom, window and flowers ! Bed was comfortable and we slept peacefully. Breakfast was a little disappointing as it was very basic and consisted of bread, butter, jam, cereal, muffin, coffee etc. It would have been perfect if they included something hot – at least eggs, if not bacon and sausage. However, it was a welcoming experience spending a couple of nights here !
GGuest UserFree parking Because we are driving by car, we didn't follow the wind to stay at the castle. This location is 7 km from the old castle hotel. The hotel is newly renovated. It is air-conditioned and warm. However, the temperature is around 23, no breakfast, the bathroom is also very big. I like it.
LLINAYou can park on the roadside. The train station is about 10 minutes walk past the ancient city, but not too far from the ancient city, about 10 minutes away from the supermarket. They are all flat roads and do not need to climb mountain roads.
My husband and I stayed here as an add on to a trip further away. We had an emergency and had to cancel the remaining part of the trip but missed the cancel time. I hate to waste money so we went anyways. TMI WARNING!! We live roughly 6.5 hours from Quebec City. We drove this with a stop or two. I am of the belief that I will wait until almost doomsday if it means I don’t use a public toilet. That is me, heavily into the, yuck no thanks, category. Well old me is now on strong medications for a non communicable, my body hates me, condition. These medications go from zero to run in my GI tract and after roughly 7 hours in the car we arrived to the hotel. I was feeling ill and tired and really needed to get to the room. The nice girl at the desk reminded me of the 3:00 check in time. It was currently 2:46 or so. I asked her if an early check is was not possible then told her I would wait outside about 10 more minutes. After the longest 10 minutes we checked in and I found the room had a heated bidet, SCORE! Otherwise, it’s a lovely hotel in a very nice spot. Bed was quite hard in room 222 and our room didn’t have towels when we checked in. They brought us a few and that was fine. The mini toiletries were missed in the clean up, they were not full. I’m a bit of a clean freak and saw nothing that concerned me. Seemed nice and clean. Broken curtains should be replaced for full coverage since people below can see in the room. No elevator, quite steep stairs so be ready to climb if on the top floor like we were. One nitpick would be the mini split was confusing to run for us as we are not familiar with them. Didn’t figure out the ac properly until we were leaving. Requested a late check out of 1:00, usual time is 11:00am. They said no to 1 but yes to noon. Would definitely stay again in spite of the mini emergency and little missed things. Great close area right outside where you want to see, if it’s Old Quebec. :!
JJenny Kim1I liked the hotel location and facilities. The indoor pool was amazing and the live stage was so good. I would definitely visit here again and book the terrace view next time.
However, there are few things that I was very dissapointed.
The room was not managed well. There are white things are around the floors (it looks like painting or wall paper. I asked to change the room, but the new room has the same problem).
Hair dryer was phsically broken and not working.
Heater is not working and when I turn on, it is very noisy.
There was a party when we stayed and it was very noisy until almost 1 pm. We called at 12:30 and the reception said they send a security. However, it was still noisy after 30 mins).
TtoshoppExactly what you expect. Easy to check in. Can be challenging if you don’t speak French but staff do try. Ask for renovated room as these are comfortable. Beware All Quebec City changes random extra taxes which they don’t negotiate which isn’t fair.
EExplore64643342314My family of 4 stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Yes, it's an old and dated hotel, but the room was OK, sheets were clean, free parking, free breakfast with plenty of choices (buffet with items served on demand by the hotel staff), warm pool to dip into after a long day in the City - all in all, it met our expectations. 15 min direct bus ride to downtown Quebec, direct bus to Montmorency Falls, easy access to major roads for out-of-town travellers. Very few TV channels in English, most are in French, but we did not come to Quebec City to watch TV. The only real complaint is that WiFi was unreliable - fast at one point, complete out the next. But overall, it is a pretty solid offering for price-conscious travellers.
