You can park on the roadside. The train station is about 10 minutes walk past the ancient city, but not too far from the ancient city, about 10 minutes away from the supermarket. They are all flat roads and do not need to climb mountain roads.

We had room no.1 with a balcony overlooking the water. It’s a big room with 2 beds, a fireplace, a sofa and chair, a desk/chair, fridg and full bathroom, all beautifully decorated with the 180 year old period feeling. It is comfortable, warm and homey, in addition to being super clean. The Terrasse Dufferin, of course is right on the famous Terrasse Dufferin boardwalk that it shares with the Chateau Frontenac. It even has an stand-alone A/C unit which is fabulous as it is 31 Celsius outside with a “feels like” 40 Celsius. The fridg is stocked with muffins, granola bars and coffee creamers. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Overall, it doesn’t get better if you are looking for authentic century old accommodations.

My family of 4 stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Yes, it's an old and dated hotel, but the room was OK, sheets were clean, free parking, free breakfast with plenty of choices (buffet with items served on demand by the hotel staff), warm pool to dip into after a long day in the City - all in all, it met our expectations. 15 min direct bus ride to downtown Quebec, direct bus to Montmorency Falls, easy access to major roads for out-of-town travellers. Very few TV channels in English, most are in French, but we did not come to Quebec City to watch TV. The only real complaint is that WiFi was unreliable - fast at one point, complete out the next. But overall, it is a pretty solid offering for price-conscious travellers.

Night from 24 to 25 August 2021 in room 247. We were very average satisfied this time. We discussed with the couple who worked there the next day and left. We understand the situation better. There is a lack of staff and renovation works have been abandoned by one or more businessmen. We booked $93.60 online with Choices for a total of $111.39 with three taxes. We had a great stay at the Super 8 for our Quebec City trip. Staff are bilingual and helpful. The room was bigger than I expected, super clean and we had a jacuzzi! Beds were very comfortable and shower had lots of hot water and good pressure. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The pool was my kid’s favourite. The water slide was very fun for kids and adults alike. The hot tub was so relaxing and I was able to watch my kids play from the hot tub so that was nice. The only suggestion I would make is the breakfast was rather lacking. And the pool towels are very thin and small. We had a great time and would not hesitate to book again.

There is free parking, not far from the city center, breakfast is okay, the room rate is cheap, the first recommendation for self-driving tour.

Stayed at Manoir des Ramparts for two nights earlier this year (February 2022). Booked it based on the location and price; much more affordable compared to other nearby properties. Location is fantastic, close enough to the city center, while being far enough for peace and quiet. Right along the fortification wall, with beautiful views. Check-in was easy and quick with the automation system they use. We knew in advance not to expect a front desk or normal hotel amenities, and didn’t miss them. No parking at the property – we opted to quickly drop our bags and then park our car in an underground lot in the city center since we had dinner plans. Just a 5 minute walk back to the hotel. Property is well-maintained and felt very clean. The room had all of the basics of what we needed for our stay with a comfortable bed. Stayed in a street facing room and did not have any issues with sound. Would stay again recommend to others!

We went to Quebec for 3 days and this hotel was in a prime location. Everything within walking distance... great restaurants and a epicerie (grocery store) just around the corner. We stayed in the suite and it was a great size for our family.

The hotel booked at the last minute (booked on the train to Quebec, did not do any travel guides), originally hoped to book a hotel 500 meters away from the train station, but almost all the price-performance ratio meets their own requirements. Have to book this home about one kilometer from the train station. After checking in, I found that this hotel is located in the core of Quebec's Old Town. It is 100 meters away from the famous top Fairmont Castle Hotel and Terrace area. It is basically within 100 to 500 meters from the main attractions of the Old Town business district and dining area. The landlady is from Guangzhou and very friendly. recommend!
