Pros: The bathroom is good, the water in the shower is very strong!
Cons: The hotel is quite old, there is a smell when you enter the room, just open the window for ventilation. But it should have been renovated, the style is more retro.
Overall, it is quite satisfactory, and the price is reasonable for a hotel in the town center. Don't be too demanding, it's ok.

Lightning protection! This hotel is the worst in all aspects of traveling in New Zealand. The hygiene is so dirty that it is covered with dust and even spider webs. The front desk service is very bad and the attitude is extremely impatient. All hotels are very good except this one. Obviously, other guests normally check out at 10 am the day before. We went there at 3-4 pm, 1-2 hours after the check-in time, and they told us that we had to wait for no room. Then, despite our strong request, it took half an hour to vacate the room, and then the front desk complained to the Indian lobby manager. Then the manager ostensibly said that the front desk arranged the wrong room, but secretly changed the window for us. The room facing the wall, the entire front desk was full of unprofessionalism and discrimination! Then hotel guests are charged extra for parking. The experience is very bad. There is also a road construction in front of the hotel.
