Very quiet, nice single-family cabin, very tasteful. This is probably a characteristic of New Zealand, which is vast and sp****ly populated. Due to the small number of service staff and their working mode, there was no one to greet us when we arrived late, but he still made arrangements.

The rubbish bin in our living room and bathroom didn’t get emptied every day. So basically you came back to your room with yesterday’s rubbish still sitting in the bin and you can still see the bread crumbs on the carpet from the breakfast as no one vacuum the room neither. Stayed there for 3 nights & will never choose this place again.

Vicki was awesome! We loved our location, our gorgeous view of the lake, and our comfy room. We really appreciated that Vicki took time to recommend excursions and show us how to get around town easily. The rooms were very clean and a good size. The kitchenette was convenient, and it was so nice that staff took our dirty dishes every day. We appreciated having laundry facilities on site, and we liked all the community space and sitting areas available at Earnslaw Lodge . It was also easy to walk anywhere around the downtown area in 15 minutes or so. Recommended!
