Turner Heights Townhouses

We stayed at Lawrence Townhouses on the 2nd night of or cycling holiday from Clyde to Waihola. The townhouses are fantastic 3 bedroom modern homes. They even had a massage chair and spa pool. The proprietors were very helpful. They were also the transport providors getting us to Dunedin from Waihola at the end of the ride and getting our hired bikes back to the hire company in Roxburgh

We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom apar**ent, even though we arrived after reception was closed! The views are great, and location is very good (just up a short, steep hill!). The heating was very effective, but the water pressure was just ok. The bed was fairly soft. The apar**ent was clean, except for some dark hairs. Also note that there are two narrow flights of stairs in the apar**ent.

Fantastic location close to main shopping area. The hill on the walk home was a challenge but we worked out a different way that was better 😊. It’s a struggle to find anywhere in Queenstown that isn’t an incline.The apar**ent had great facilities and layout.

We stayed in a 'lake view' one bedroom. The view obstructed by the row of two bedroom units in front. Clean & tidy however a dated interior. The bedroom small, dark & pokey, the sofa couch saggy. Location to town & supermarket is excellent. Because we picked this up in an Agoda sale it was great value for $ however would consider other options next time.

We were pleasantly surprised with how amazing our Turner Heights Townhouse was. To start with we arrived a few hours early and had to find a car park before joining a tour, the owner was kind enough to let us park on site (parking in Queenstown can be very challenging) When we got back check in was a breeze and our apar**ent was so much more than we expected. Over 2 levels we had a kitchen, dining room, lounge, toilet and balcony upstairs, then full bathroom, laundry, 2 bedrooms and courtyard with bbq downstairs. And although slightly obstructed by the houses in front we had beautiful views of the lake, mountains, town and gondola. I'm not sure how long ago they were renovated but everything was clean, modern and very comfortable. As others have mentioned there is an extremely steep hill out the front but it's short, it's definitely a good workout and didn't bother us, everywhere around Queenstown is hilly. Location is fantastic, you can be in the middle of Queenstown shopping area in 5 minutes. I look forward to staying again in the future.

Booked a middle balcony apar**ent and enjoyed our stay entirely! It was spacious. The room was also very clean and the bed was comfortable. I think the only problem with this hotel would be the steep slope it is situated on. However, with all the good food in the area I think the extra workout is recommended if your knees can take it. It was enjoyable sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and simply enjoying the sun setting over Queenstown.

10 min walk to town, apar**ent was spacious for 2, good views from lounge. Property is up a short hill, if travelling with luggage who may think about transport. Would visit again

We have stayed here twice now, having stayed at three other properties in Queenstown prior. The location and overall size of the apar**ents provides great value. The free on-site parking is a real bonus considering the parking issues in Queenstown and charges imposed by some properties. We’ve stayed in both a front and rear apar**ent and my personnel preference is the front ones as the parking is a little easier and you don’t have to climb a steep staircase to get to the living rooms. They also have two toilets, one on each floor and feel more private. The down side is that the views generally are not quite as good as the rear ones. The exception being #11 which appeared to have unobstructed views of the lake. These apar**ents also have private outdoor bbq facilities. It’s a five minute walk to town, although like So many properties in Queenstown the walk home from town is up hill ,but not too bad. Thoroughly recommend Turner Heights for families.

Stayed in Apar**ent 4 for 5 nights. 2 adults and 1 child. Great place to stay with fabulous views. Fully equipped with everything you need including washer and dryer in our 2 bedroom apt. Very handy to town, downhill but bit of a climb returning. Cosy, warm and spacious. Definitely will stay again and highly recommend.
