This was my second trip to the property after visiting with a friend the previous year. While all the rooms have great design and personality, I requested the same room - a Wow Suite. It's a hike to get to, so if you don't like stairs, select a different room, but I enjoy the open design floorpan and infinity bathtub - great for use on the occasional rainy day. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and do whatever they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Though there is only one lunch/dinner menu to select your meals from, there are many options and all of the food is very good and has its own flair, so you won't get bored. My only suggestion would be to have some lighter and smaller fare available to have by the pool during the day. The waitstaff is very eager to help, recommend their favorite drinks, and point out the numerous sloths lazing about in the trees. Plus, they even had the kitchen make a birthday cake for a friend. I stayed for 8 nights and never left the property, though there is plenty to do in the area. I had just been to the region before and had done all of the touristy things you'd do previously and just wanted to relax by the pool, which I very much enjoyed doing every day. There is also a small, but very well-appointed spa on the property where I enjoyed three deep-tissue massages. I've received many massages in my life and it is hard to impress me, particularly at a hotel spa, but Milton did just that. I highly recommend him.
