Staying in a compound whose backdrop is a huge garden , a chapel and a lovely residence which smacks lot of heritage can be a nice consideration for a short stay. Don’t expect short walks to the mall for shopping or cinema going , or even dining. No gym , swimming pool. But the rooms are lovely, providing space and creature comforts of a typical hotel stay , or what you call staycation. Soft bed , a bathtub , bidet toilet , smart TV and cool AC . My room /suite in the 2nd floor has a terrace with sweeping views across the compound. No 24 hour convenience store outside, but around 200 meters there is a small handy mini shop. Felt that it that the suite was not that soundproof, considering we are the only occupants that weekend. Pillars carrying this Henry is the restaurant Bizu Cafe who serves great food , including the set breakfast, and had great professional personnel. Their staff , Elaine and Randell , represent the jack of all trades. Front desk , concierge, and even porter at times. The non availability of a room phone unit was compensated with their text ff up if I need something, or checking us quite often. Tips: make advance reservations for the Benitez house visit. Food delivery is allowed. Good if hosting a banquet function, or for a special occasion, since at 7 units you can literally get the whole hotel instead.
