Hostal la Chorrera

Was disappointed with Hotel David so tried this place as I did need someplace to sleep. Lady who runs it speaks good English which was a real help to me. She happily advised places to eat and all sorts of other helpful information. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small (I got the smallest one in the building from what I saw) and a little tired but I didn't really expect anything else for $12 a night, that's about the price of a double whopper from burger king in the UK. It included private shower / toilet / sink. If I'd have wanted I could have gone for the $9 option with shared bathroom. As about the only guest from what I could tell the shared option might have been a little better! Lovely communal lounge area with comfy chairs and sofas. Courtyard for those of us that smoke or anyone else who wats to be outside whilst still being off the street. Metro is right outside the front door so easy to get to along with the bus stop.

The owner, Anita, was very helpful in answering all my questions and assisting me in getting around the city. Very nice common area and great wifi at the property.
