For people who want to fly & flop ….or with youngish children , this resort is amazing ! Accommodation was excellent , and very clean all round ….service wonderful

It was our second time in this beautiful hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom is gorgeous, the shower is huge! All of the people working in the hotel are so friendly, nothing is too much to make your day! We loved the entertaiment-team, very funny and enthusiastic. The food in the main restaurant is unbelievable, great choice and all very tasty. The gardens are well maintained. The only thing that need some attention are the beach umbrellas, the trees provide more shade because of the poor state of the umbrellas.

Our 4th visit to this lovely hotel for a very relaxing & chilled holiday. The staff are so friendly. Great variety of food which is very well presented. It is all kept immaculate by the gardeners and the cleaning staff. Lovely to stroll along the beach which is lovely. It was such a shame to see the Whales beach and although some were saved some didn’t make it, felt sad & helpless but it is part of nature. We had swim up room again which is ideal for us but we have stayed in main hotel as well and the room layout is the same. We are coming back again next year in February this time with my brother & his wife.

The hotel was well laid out. Food and services were excellent and staff were always friendly and helpful. We had a few issues with the room, bit using the RIU app, the issues were logged and dealt with quickly and efficiently, which was great. Overall we had a lovely stay and this is the first place we both agreed we would come back to.

This was a magical holiday. Absolutely everything was perfect. One of the new Managers Omar was particularly lovely. He was so helpful and kind. Had an accident 5 days into the holiday and he went out of his way to assist. We couldn’t have wished for anything more ( except the weather the first week was very cool and windy 😁) will definitely go back

The hotel cannot be faulted for the quality of the food and the service. The staff are all excellent and the hotel is spotless.

Just back from a fabulous 14 days First time in Cape Verde but have visited several Riu Palaces in Mexico and Dominican and the Riu Palace Boa Vista is up there with the best of them . We all had a lovely relaxing time Beautiful sea view rooms , kept spotless by Angela , came back every day to great towel sculptures We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary while we were here and big thanks to Adel on reception for all his help in sorting out our celebration meal at Krystal restaurant . Dgeorge at pool bars and evening bars is a credit to the hotel Every member of staff was so lovely and friendly Enjoyed all 3 A la Cartes a couple of times , easily booked on the App Had breakfast in the Africa, so much choice of lovely freshly cooked food , plenty of choice of fresh fruits too We always managed to get a table for 6 .Most lunch times ate at Sal Rei , again so much choice. Usually called at the Cappuccino bar on way back from beach , good selection of coffees and cakes Enjoyed the evenings in the bar areas and saw some shows , entertainment team work so hard day and night and really interact with the guests The beach is absolutely beautiful and loads of sun beds also plenty available round the pools Weather was fantastic , there is a breeze but very pleasant. 100% satisfied no complaints at all , we will be back
