I wanted to love this hotel…but I just can’t stay here anymore because I respect myself too much. Let me start with the Pros: The front desk staff are friendly. The bar staff are friendly. The rooms are large and fairly new. Breakfast is EXCELLENT. The hotel is 2 minutes from my office. The pool area is very nice. The outdoor patio and fire pit is beautiful. The ONE and ONLY con: My room was never clean - the three times I’ve stayed here - each time for about a week long trip. The first stay in January, my dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes. The second stay in February, my dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes, the lock to my room did not lock, and the floors in the hallway were always VERY dirty. Housekeeping never cleaned my room during this stay. The third stay in March was the deal breaker for me. The dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes. The floor in the kitchen was dirty and sticky. I took a trash bucket in an attempt to clean the floor myself, and when I took the back out of the bucket, there appeared to be dry vomit in it. I cleaned out the bucket, filled it with warm water and soap, and proceeded to clean the floor. The towel I used quickly turned black with dirt. I also wiped down the stainless steel fridge which was covered in dirty finger print smudges. Housekeeping also never cleaned my room during this 3 night stay. I never had a DND sign up so I’m not sure what the deal is with housekeeping. I did ask a staff member and they mentioned that they have a big issue with poor housekeeping. The assistant general manager issued me 5K points, but that won’t bring me back to this hotel after giving them 3 chances. I took my business to Hilton this months and for future stays.
