We started off not so great because we ordered a king room that was supposed to have a pullout sofa in it, but was given just a king room with plenty of empty space where they certainly could put a pullout. We asked them if they could bring a rollaway mattress if possible since what we reserved was not provided. They “upgraded” us to their king suite. It didn’t feel like an upgrade since the bathroom was much smaller and not nearly as nice as the first room. Even though we felt that was odd, the accommodation was made quickly and smoothly for us. The 2 biggest things for me are a nights sleep and comfort. I appreciate a hotel letting you drop down the thermostat to 60 degrees as I tend to sleep hot. That, plus the double sided Serta’s they have are quite comfortable. Those two things alone warranted the 5stars for me. Even though breakfast was not included and even though it was a poorer bathroom. Another plus for the hotel, however, was the heated pool. This was one of the few pools I’ve been to where it actually felt heated in the pool even though it was cold outside. So overall I would stay here again. Please note, however, if you are looking to sleep in I would not recommend this hotel as they are under construction and they start work at 8am. Other than that, if you’re up before them like we were, go for it!

Hotel is being remodeled, which I was not made aware of before making the reservation. Construction noise 8 AM - 6 PM. Construction dust throughout hotel although staff was making an effort to keep it cleaned up. One of two elevators was kept in reserve for remodeling work. Bed mattress was just OK. Mediocre breakfast was $14. All in all not a good value for the room rate.

Stayed in a renovated room on the 5th floor. It was fine, quiet! Breakfast good, staff friendly. Lots of counter tops and storage in the King room. Note that renovation construction happens each day starting at 8. Restaurants and shopping nearby.
