This is not one of the better Ritz Carlton I have stayed in.  While it's all the way out there in Rancho Mirage, the resort activities are very limited.

Overall experience was good. Kind staff that was helpful and seemed genuinely interested in supporting the stay. 

My only issue here was that some (not all) of the other guests seemed to have forgotten their manners or decorum. Just because you pay a premium to stay at the Ritz, or any hotel, doesn’t mean you get to act without manners or kindness.

Very cool property on a hill with a great view from our room.
Exceptional service. Free afternoon cocktail in the lobby. Plenty of space to sit and relax with my wife. 
Everyone helpful with any questions. It was summer time and very hot so not crowded. 
Would stay there again. Separate adult pool was quiet.

沙漠山頂的綠洲，設施、環境、服務，都不錯！每天床頭都會放兩塊巧克力，趕緊吃哦，要不然帶出門就會化了！兒子出門摔了一跤，前台馬上給拿來葯包。好幾個泳池，晚上一邊游泳一邊看星空的感覺非常愜意！

The oasis on the top of the desert mountain, the facilities, environment, and service are all good! There are two pieces of chocolate on the bedside every day, eat them quickly, otherwise they will melt when you take them out! My son fell when he went out, and the front desk immediately brought him a medicine bag. There are several swimming pools, and it feels very comfortable to swim and watch the stars at night!

The RItz Carlton Rancho MIrage was perfect for our time in the Palm Springs area.  We were upgraded to a fire pit room with a desert view and loved it.  After a night swim we would return to a lit fire and view of a full moon.  It was a beautiful way to start the day as well.  The view was gorgeous.  We had a child with us so we could only use the large family pool.  There were always chairs  available and the staff was so helpful.  They would open umbrellas,  pass out ice water, frozen berries, and  small smoothies.  We ate at the restaurant a few times and it was always good ( I usually hate hotel food).  We were 6 miles away from downtown Palm Springs, but it was a quick drive to grab lunch, wander around and check out the art museum.  If you enjoy nature,  this is the right hotel for you.

Our fire pit room has a nice view of the desert landscape.  The employees are very gracious and respond quickly to requests. Our room was for 4 guests but only 2 robes were available.   The lights in the bathroom are not very workable and the shower is very small. Bathroom is dark.  The food at the restaurant is very good overall.  The resort was almost empty yet they gave the room right next to us to another guest making it uncomfortable to talk in normal voices outside.
