A family member recommended this hotel to me and I was NOT disappointed. Such wonderful and helpful staff. The hotel room looked directly over the ocean and we were within walking distance to so many restaurants and cute little shops. We took the Rapallo Montallegro Cable Car, which was again withing walking distance. There was a church at the top of the mountain with a small little B&B where we had a drink overlooking the town. WHAT A VIEW!!!! We sat on the hotel balcony every night people watching. This hotel really is a gem. Beds were very comfortable and I can't say enough about all the staff. They were so gracious and helpful. I would recommend this hotel highly. It's in the middle of a busy but relaxing town. You can get happily lost in the zig-zag streets behind the hotel all day. The buffet breakfast was always delicious and they make a great cup of coffee.

2 night stay in May, was a good option. right in centre of town, friendly, helpful staff. room comfortable and clean. breakfast plentiful and delicious, nice flat location with everything in walking distance, ferry across road. highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay. The family who run the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, as were the staff. Room was lovely and immaculately clean. Breakfast was great and fantastic location. Do not hesitate to book. Would definitely return.

What a great hotel! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean. It had a lovely seafront setting and was very convenient for the ferry to Portofino. Also convenient for the station to get the train to Cinque Terre. Luckily we'd been to Cinque Terra 10 years ago as it has now been spoilt with over tourism. I know we were tourists adding to the problem but we wouldn't have bothered going there if we'd known. It was incredibly crowded for early season and it felt quite dangerous on the stations as they were so crowded.

The concierge and staff are exemplary. The hotel is well situated for access to Rapallo, the train station and ferry terminals.

Hotel Vesuvio was the best. Extremely comfortable, very nice staff, terrific location, and very clean. We spent four days there and heartily recommend it. Maybe a little noisy due to great location, but it did not bother us. Loved the staff, very helpful and pleasant.We intend to return.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The owner operator goes out of his way to ensure you are well taken care of. The breakfast is varied with lots of good food to start your day. The rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable.

Great location within short walk of train station, ferries and cable car as well as shops and restaurants.
Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Lovely little hotel run by the nicest people. We had an adjoining family room with beach view for 3 people which would easy be big enough for 4 people. Breakfast were simple but delicious and we also used the small bar for a a nightcap… would definitely use again
