"The location was perfect and we are lucky enough to find street parking just outside the hotel. However, due to the lack of blanket (only a thin sheet of cloth and a unwashable thick blanket in wardrobe), we were unable to get a good night sleep. Also, the handle of the toilet was broken."

"The hotel is in a great location. The entrance is from the gallery. Everything is close: the beach, the train station, restaurants, and parking. The front desk staff was fantastic. The lady was very kind and friendly, and she recommended many great spots. We took advantage of most of her recommendations, for which we were grateful. Breakfast was sufficient (I only missed Italian tomatoes ;) ). The breakfast staff was smiling and helpful. The cleaning lady was very polite. The reception is open 24 hours a day. We were very pleased. The church bells didn't bother us at all and created a wonderful atmosphere when we woke up. Because of the service, we will return to this hotel again. Besides, the coast has many interesting places we didn't have time to see. Thank you for everything!"

"I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Delle Rose in Rapallo for more than 2 weeks. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian hotel this is the place! The building is an old, typical Ligurian home that has been converted into a small hotel. The rooms I stayed in were large with big windows, high ceiling and beautiful marble floors with updated bathrooms. I even had a room with a small balcony to sit on and enjoy some afternoon sun. The beds were comfortable and clean and the rooms were serviced everyday by friendly staff. The breakfast that was included was great. You had everything that you’d want from an Italian breakfast plus some things for kids and fresh fruit. The coffee machine made a good espresso or cappuccino and a dozen other types of drinks. There is also tea and cookies available in the same room during the rest of the day. The location is also ideal, just on the outer edge of Rapallo the centre is only about a 8 or 10 minute walk along via Aurelia or through the park across the street. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Enrico and his family were warm, kind and very happy to help if I ever needed anything. I would highly recommend this charming and authentic hotel and would return next time I’m in the area."

"I stayed at this hotel for the second time on August 30th. The room was much larger than the previous one. Two large French windows opened onto the balcony. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were friendly, and I'd say everything was fine. Despite the proximity to a busy road, the night was quite quiet."

"Loved this place! The two owners Marco & Filippo (and their two Bassett hounds Zoe & Poldo) were very welcoming. Very good English and very easy conversationalists on everything (that's Marco & Filippo, not the dogs!) The room was not the biggest in the world, but perfectly adequate with comfortable beds, small fridge, coffee machine, good in room wifi. Breakfast was a plentiful mix of cereal, cold cuts, pastries and excellent coffee. Less than 5 minutes walk from the train/bus station and some great local bars and restaurants nearby. Buses to Genoa hourly and to Santa Margharita (for Portofino) every 30 mins or so. Highly recommended"
