Horrible service , rude staff , breakfast was denied even though it was included in package , the staff was rude and hostile , no cleanliness in room overall a place to avoid at all cost given the poor property and rude staff behavior … please do not book at any cost

The stay was pathetic and abysmal. 1. No internet, since the connectivity was non existent the absence of free wifi, a necessity nowadays was galling. 2. No intercom in the room so the hotel staff could not be contacted. No room service. 3. The quality of food was bad and highly priced. I was forced to eat as there were no other restaurants nearby. 4. Rooms were not allotted as per booked ac was not working entire night. Property owner is nice to behave. She considered heavy discount for same

Location of the resort is good, though little difficult to reach. This is quite far away from the mumbai goa highway, but touching a beautiful beach. Well maintained resort and very good food. .

Stay is wonderful. Needs wifi. Cooks and food are excellent. Stay is good as less crowded. Hospitality is wonderful. Beach is 1 min walk. Fresh and warm waters, 24 hrs.

We's travelled as a couple to several beach properties over the past 15+ years. Saminer is decidedly the worst of them all, and by a huge margin. The owner, Abhijeet, has a lot of catching up to do on hospitality etiquette and his manager "Neeta" (who talks only on phone and supposedly decides the pricing) is a cheat. She gave us an increased rate that, she said, covered our child's bed & breakfast, and still charged us extra for the toast and milk that the child consumed. When we asked Abhijeet why he's charging extra even though they'd claimed "breakfast included" the previous evening, he said "you should have asked" whether breakfast included means breakfast included for the child or not. I asked "would you expect my child not to eat with me when I travel with him?", he responded "Yes" without even an ounce of shame or apology. We paid 6K+ per night for a tiny "non-AC" room (queen sized bed only) on 24th night and it was the least pleasant stay in a hotel/homestay in our vacation. In my opinion, Abhijeet and his staff need to work a lot on being empathetic to their guests. They were stingy with smiles. They lacked the basic understanding that serving cold, unconsumed breakfast from one guest's table to another is a bad idea. Abhijeet wouldn't accept a broken toilet seat as being broken. We also felt unsafe in their property, especially because it's so remote - we simply had no alternative to go to given that we'd arrived there just half an hour before day light ran out. Perhaps they have a hidden bias against guests from outside Maharasthra, and if there is one, they should state this clearly in their dealings. They do have the advantage of a secluded beach right next to the property but we found the beach to be quite character-less. (The black sand and weeds kill the appeal of the water, IMO.) The property itself is poorly maintained, the furniture is uncomfortable, there is no safe parking for guests. The food is pedestrian and over-priced (for the location). But none of this matters as much as the attitude of the property owners which, in our opinion, is amongst the worst we have encountered in our travels across the world.

Samindar Beach house is a perfect location for peace, me time/family time with excellent sea facing property. One of the off bit locations , we have ever visited in Konkan , which offers beautiful and unique experience of peaceful stay to get de stressed from the day to day life and clean sea share just behind this property . Worth visiting this place again !!

Nice property, though it is considerably far from the main road and hence own transportation will be useful. Nice rooms behind the owner's residence. The rooms are independent and glass fronted. Well laid out furnishings and the bathroom too is well fitted. The staff were eager to help but dinner must be ordered before its too late (I had packed my favourite vada pavs for dinner enroute so cannot comment on their cooking skills). The beach is just outside the property, ideal for evening and morning strolls and frolicking in the sea. The beach is not crowded and there are no activities or sports. Ideal for those who value a quiet sojourn by the beach without the noise and hustle of popular beaches. I could bargain a decent tariff.

The sea in Konkan isn’t always mellow. If you’re looking for a property right on a serene fabulous beach, this is the place for you. We spent hours floating gently. The property itself is aesthetically pleasing and in a lovely setting. Totally worth going the distance for. Cons: Food is not great and there’s no signal, if you consider that a con. Room tips: We stayed in adjoining rooms 102 & 3, which are on the first floor at the front of the property and from where you can see the sea. Both the rooms have nice verandas with tables where you can chill.
