Wir waren für einen Familienaufenthalt im Best Western in Weingarten. Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, an einem kleinen Park neben der Stadthalle. Direkt am Hotel ist eine große kostenpflichtige Tiefgarage (9 EUR pro Tag übers Hotel abrechenbar). Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist leider noch auf früherem Niveau - es wurde verm. seit der Eröffnung als Mövenpick vor ca. 30 Jahren nicht mehr groß umgebaut (Teppichboden, alte Möbel...). Wir hatten eine Suite, die in einer Ecke untergebracht war und Fenster zu zwei Richtungen hatte. Dies bot uns einen tollen Sonnenaufgang über der nebelverhangenen Stadt. Es wäre noch schön gewesen, wenn das Hotel bei der Buchung mit Kleinkindern mitgedacht hätte und gefährliche Objekte aus Kinderhöhe entfernt hätte.

Wir hatten hier für einen Kurzurlaub zum Geburtstag gebucht. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sehr sauber - hier hat alles gepasst. Lediglich nach dem Einchecken und dem Zimmerbezug wurde das Zimmer noch zweimal, ohne auf die Antwort nach dem Anklopfen zu warten, betreten - das war ein absolutes No-Go. Wir hatten dann auch im Hotel zu Abend gegessen - die Auswahl hat sehr gut gepasst! Leider war aber das Steak dann doch fast tot gebraten, die Garnelen waren definitiv zu salzig, zu lange in der Pfanne und hatten schon einen dunklen Rand. Geschmacklich hat das Steak aber ganz gut gepasst. Vorspeise und Dessert waren ausgezeichnet. Auf die Weinkarte sollte man sich aber nicht verlassen - 2 der gewählten Weine waren nicht verfügbar. Das sehr freundliche Personal war dann aber sehr bemüht, einen passenden Wein zu offerieren.

Short-term planned stay with online reservation. Booking and check-in on-site was uncomplicated. Modern and consistently furnished. The room was not large but perfectly enough for short stays. Towels and washing agents available. In all very clean. The team was very friendly. Breakfast had to be booked extra - price/performance/select is perfectly OK here. The possibility that check out can take place until 12:00 is particularly positive. The free parking is also available - but there would be a need for improvements for the number here. Otherwise the B&B here has surprised me positively.

One of the best city hotels I have been in with free parking, clean spacios room and great breakfast. The Hotel is pretty big but it feels as a B&B we were amazed at the amenities it had and the online checkin was really good and fast.
