Hotels Near Yomjinda road in Rayong

Stayed here for one night and due to circumstance was just looking for a good value as there was no time for a resort setting this trip to Rayong. In that situation I usually stay at the Marriott but for a place to sleep and run errands within Rayong this place was great. Room was bigger than I expected, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was solid considering the limitations these days but given the space they are using assume that in ”normal” times it is probably quite grand.

Room is big. Convince to many places. Had a good time at the pool. Stuff’s are friendly but first walked in the room a bit smelly

The lobby area exuded a modern yet cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day of travel. My room was well-appointed and meticulously clean, offering a peaceful retreat during my stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided added convenience to my stay. While the overall experience was delightful, one aspect that could be improved is the water pressure. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The check in lobby is on 2nd floor. Parking lots has enough space for everyone. Room space is enough for comfortable staying. The location is easy access but it is not placed on the main road. There is a refrigerator in room but no hairdryer. The trash bin is only one and small in each room. The room is clean and fresh. Price is reasonable as well.

The hotel is very new, with complete facilities and good hygiene. The bedding is very comfortable and the service is good. I checked in promptly when I arrived at the hotel after 12 noon, which is great. It is recommended to stay in a sea view room above the fifth floor. The view from the fourth floor is not very good because it will be blocked by telephone poles and wires on the side of the road. It would be even better if the infinity swimming pool on the third floor could be built on the roof. After all, the view from the third floor is much worse, and the telephone poles and wires on the roadside are a bit distracting.

Nice large room., which looks and smells new. Not much decoration yet. Water pressure in the shower could be a bit better. Breakfast spread is good at reasonable quality, except that all food is tepid or cold. Even the ‘hot’ water was not hot. The ‘Cappucino’ alternative was not drinkable, more like Coffeemate. The cut fruit is drenched in salat dressing. Unfortunately they find it necessary to play the TV at full volume with crazy game shows. Too much for me in the early morning. Interesting swimming pool with glass sidewall. The pool is not very wide but good for a refreshing dip or the morning exercise and good to teach people swimming, with the glass pane to observe the style underwater.

For friends who have plans to come to Rayong or come to run errands around here We recommend this place as another accommodation chain like IHG with the concept of Simple Smart Travel, which of course will have the Brand Standard of Holiday Inn Express easily accessible. And I'm sure it's good. Whether it's the room, the smell, good bedding, comfortable sleep, and comes with complete facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, children's pool, Kids Club, Fitness, meeting room, the restaurant is at the back of the building. I stayed here for a long weekend in December 2020. The rooms are large and a great balcony with stunning sea views. The stay did not go well for a number of reasons, poor service, Internet not working, room filthy, room old, no shower curtain (so bathroom flooded after each shower, poor quality breakfast. As part of the Internet issue, I met the Resident Manager and she seemed to be proactive and practical. Although it took about five hours, she did manage to resolve the problem. Upon check-out, I bumped into her and she already knew that I was not happy with the stay but she talked well and offered an olive branch, to say that if I return, to book a room and then write to her, she would then 'take care of us'. In March, I decided to give this place one more try, so booked a room and wrote to the Resident Manager to take advantage of her offer to 'take care of us'. I wanted Building B as it has the best views and was told it was full (I later found out that it is being renovated, but they decided that lying was better than the simple truth). I had booked direct as that is what the Resident Manager has asked. This was at a higher price than I can get on Agoda, but I was expecting that 'take care of you' would comprise the usual Hotel Management offer, perhaps a room upgrade, or a free drink, or a free dinner etc. Upon check-in, no indication of how we would be 'looked after. So, went to the room, and wow! It was in worse condition than the room in December and, was utterly filthy. I called the Lobby and asked to see the Resident Manager. She came to the room and without even looking at how dirty the room was, immediately said 'yesterday there was a strong wind and it may have blown some duct under the door'. I pointed out that the filthy floor was caused by not being cleaned properly for many months. When she looked at the mess, she agreed and took her own photographs. Still no shower curtains fitted, woodwork filthy, rusty fittings in the bathroom etc. I pointed out that the room was unacceptable and she said that all of the rooms are the same age. I pointed out that the age of the room had no bearing on floor cleanliness. Her response was 'if you want to leave now I will refund you'! Superb Customer Service style. I will never set foot in this place again and I cannot recommend anything except the view. Some friends recently stayed at the Lord Nelson which is not far away, I will try that next time.
