Good location, good breakfast, nice person, a little bit noise on Saturday night, too hot in room, no air conditioning.

The hotel location and breakfast were generally satisfactory. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and helped me apply for an early check-in discount. But the air-conditioning system in the room is discouraging. It basically cannot cool the air. In the current weather in May, I have to open the window at night to sleep. If I stay in the summer, the situation may be worse. The wash basin in the bathroom is clogged, and there is sewage from brushing my teeth. Unable to flow away normally, nauseating.

Great last minute booking. Comfortable room and importantly close to Reading station. Front desk was manned until late making check in smooth.

It was a shame the steam room was out of order. Service very good and the hotel was quiet enough. The lifts are a bit slow. Gym looks decent and the pool and sauna was nice.
