"The location is in the center of Reading, very close to the train station, convenient for travel. The room is in another building and there are staff to help with luggage. The room is nice with a balcony. The hotel restaurant food is also OK. I went late on the day of check-in and only some dishes were available. The wine was good. The hotel made a mistake in the bill when checking out and charged me an extra fee. I negotiated with the platform and got it refunded. Overall I feel satisfied."

"as a coach driver a good night sleep and somewhere to securely park the coach are my top priorities when booking a hotel the parking was problematic due to lorries parking in all the coach bays at the services the lack of Aircon is a major concern especially when most other national hotel chains have Aircon in every room this hotel doesnt have it at all and with temperatures hitting 38c the 1 desktop fan in the room is doing nothing but blow very hot air around leading to a very hot sticky uncomfortable nights attempted sleep literally dripping with sweat as soon as I enter the room no breakfast or dinner at this hotel except the highly overpriced services food outlets"

"This hotel is very stained, dirty and unclean. Stains on the carpets, furniture, bed linen and pillows. We could not stay the night. Had to check out and find an alternative hotel. Then to make the experience worse you cannot contact Travelodge by phone for a quick resolution. You have to email and they will try and get back to you in 5-6 business days. So I have paid for this stay and the other hotel but cannot get my money back. My advice is AVOID"
