This really is an oasis in the prettiest part of Reading. Luxurious rooms and stunning public areas. The staff are it's biggest asset with Nyssa and her team looking after everyone beautifully! Thanks for another lovely stay.

Beautiful hotel . I love travelling. But I feel the staff were not friendly at all . The receptionist both of them I had to start a conversation.it’s like they are being forced to work if I’m honest . Maybe coz we were there for 1 night maybe that’s why . But I go to hotels so I can go back again . Apart fro m that . The hotel is beautiful

Following her cancer treatment, my mother has been regularly visiting Aheli Spa for massages. She started off with reflexology massages post treatment to manage her pain which she found very relaxing. She has now expanded to full body massages and loves them. Chimi is very good at understanding the person’s needs and tailoring massages accordingly. She truly is gifted and I would highly recommend!!!

We booked a table at the Roseate to celebrate a birthday with friends, as a group of 8. It's fair to say we had quite a mixed experience overall. The food itself was excellent and couldn't be faulted, while service on the night was reasonable but nothing exceptional. We were a little put out to be charged full price for one of our party who wasn't able to make it on the night (we had phoned earlier that day to let them know, even telling them what had been ordered, but they didn't seem to have a record of this when we arrived) - a 50% charge might be more justified. It was our experience with the booking that really undermined the experience for us though - with a poor explanation of how this was going to work - needing to order and pay in advance, including for our drinks, and an initial substantial overcharge that fortunately we spotted and they rectified. Overall - we'd rate 5 for the food, 3 for service on the night and 1 for service of the booking process.

Great stay and service as usual. I stay here often but this time I decide to to use the spa, something you always want to do but never make time to do! Csenge gave a great massage, just what the doctor ordered! Really helped to make the trip. Thank you!

Service was wonderful. There were a few hitches with the dinner party we had arranged, but it was addressed immediately. We were more than adequately compensated with a private room and various other upgrades. A most enjoyable post Christmas weekend.

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Close to all the shops, and restaurants, we had a fantastic time!! Plenty of things to see in the area, we went to a pub round the corner called the market place, had a great game of shuffle board and there's a karaoke booth which is really good fun.
