Hi we just wanted a hotel within close distance of Reading town centre on a budget. It had all that we needed but could have done with air con. The staff were very accommodating and listened to any needs of customers.

Nice place for a couple of nights, the hot water needs regulating as it gets too hot, so have to play about with the cold water to get it right. Tv weird as it has no standard channels but you can watch Netflix and Amazon.

Great staff, nice interior and good location. It's just a lot of stairs when you're carrying heavy or bulky stuff because they don't have a lift. Over-all, it was a nice stay.

Was disgusted to see when I was checking out at 11am that the housekeeping have laid out the clean towels and bedding in front of each door without any protective covers or anything else covering them from the germs and dust from the floor. I know they are young (housekeeping) by the looks of them, and they want to finish their shift and get out quickly but this is very unhygenic. Unfortunately, there is no management or reception at that time to keep an eye on them. Bedding is one thing, but people will end up using the towels on their face and body. They need to be told not to do this.

Not the best value for money. Single bed and more than other hotels in the same area. Should be made £30 cheaper in my opinion. No parking either.
