Mitsui Kanko Hotel

The hospitality of the hotel guests is also the worst. They don't entertain customers during meals. Employees need retraining. There are no towels to use when using the toilet or washroom. At check-out, I was asked to wait for a while after returning the key and waited. However, after checking for 4-5 minutes without any feedback, there was no immediate response.This is a hotel that I don't want to close again.I think there will be a lot of customers in the summer, but I think they need to retrain their employees.Since they are dealing with groups, I don't think they should do much. If you take care of travel agencies that don't have any complaints, then the guests will probably be disappointed once in a while.

I used it on a 6-night, 7-day tour of Trapics. If you take the bus to the hotel, you will get on and off on the sea side, where there are only stairs. If you are using it for a tour, you will arrive around 5 o'clock, but there are few shops open around that time. The best rooms at this hotel are those facing the sea on the upper floors, and if the weather is nice you can see Rishiri Fuji beautifully. Furthermore, the Japanese-style rooms are larger than the Western-style rooms, so I think the two Japanese-style rooms facing the sea are the best. I think it's very hit or miss when it comes to tours. Due to the island's characteristics, many of the meals are made with locally sourced ingredients, but unfortunately, many of the dishes are cold. The public bath is very clean and has a very good hot spring feel, but the view is not what you would expect. Breakfast is a buffet, but it's very crowded because there are a lot of people on tours.

I stayed here on a group tour. This time I happened to stay in a room on the 5th floor with an ocean view, so I was able to see the beautiful Rishiri Fuji right in front of me. The cabin was larger than I expected, and I had no problem opening the large trunk. You can see Rishiri Fuji from the large public bath, and it was a hot spring that made your skin smooth. The food was delicious and the fish was very fresh. It's a bit disappointing that the breakfast buffet doesn't have many types of side dishes. Also, there was only one elevator, so it was difficult to get crowded when checking out or eating. In terms of location, you can be picked up from Kafuka Port, but it is within a 10 minute walk. There is a restaurant nearby, but there is no convenience store, and although there is a store directly managed by the fishermen's association, it is only open on weekdays, so it is a bit inconvenient to buy beer, yogurt, and small items.
