Assim que cheguei no hotel já tive uma péssima impressão no check in extremamente demorado com apenas uma atendente que levou quase 15 minutos para atender o grupo de 3 pessoas que estava na minha frente. Achei que o meu check in seria rápido por já ter feito o mesmo online e nos outros hotéis da rede já encontrar tudo pronto, bastando assinar para retirar minha chave já preparada, mas nesse hotel levou uns 10 minutos pois precisaram copiar meus dados já preenchidos online para um segundo cadastro do hotel e preparar minha chave. No elevador, o botão do meu andar (4º) não funcionava direito e o funcionário do hotel teve que socar o botão diversas vezes até o mesmo acender. No quarto padrão íbis anos 2000 notei que a janela dava para um terreno vazio cheio de mato e mesmo no quarto andar encontrei vários mosquitos provavelmente vindos do terreno vizinho. Ao tentar dar uma volta a pé para conhecer os arredores do hotel, me deparei com calçadas alargadas em ambas os lados do hotel, tornando impossível o trânsito de pedestres nos arredores sem mergulhar os pés nas poças d’água em dias de chuva. Na primeira noite resolvi fazer um pedido de iFood às 18h e somente às 23h me foi avisado que o pedido estava parado no balcão da recepção desde as 19h, pois o telefone no meu quarto não estava tocando e só me ligaram no meu telefone pessoal as 22h. Ao questionar o motivo de não terem me ligado mais cedo, foi respondido que ligaram diversas vezes, mas mostrei que no meu registro de chamadas não tinha nenhuma ligação perdida deles antes de uma única ligação de número desconhecido as 22h. Ao questionar o que seria feito para resolver o problema do telefone interno não tocando no quarto, foi dito que nada poderia ser feito naquele horário. Ao questionar se seria possível trocar de quarto para um com telefone funcionado, me responderam que o hotel estaria com 100% de ocupação, mas numa simples pesquisa no app deles foi constatado que ainda estavam vendendo diárias para o mesmo dia, ou seja, eles estavam fazendo overbooking ou mentido sobre a ocupação total do hotel. Na mesma noite mandei e-mail para a gerência do hotel e até o presente momento, mais de 10 dias depois dos problemas relatados, não recebi nenhuma resposta da gerência. Somente no dia seguinte mandaram a manutenção arrumar o telefone interno do meu quarto, mas depois do ocorrido não fiz mais nenhum pedido de iFood e preferi comer fora do hotel. O café da manhã do hotel foi a única parte que superou expectativas, em especial o preparo de tapiocas e omeletes. No geral não me hospedaria novamente nesse hotel a não ser que seja a última opção disponível.

The hotels in Recife all seem to be pretty utilitarian, and Hotel Manibu Recife is no exception, but it offers very good value compared to some other hotels that are quite similar. For $50 USD a night my room was clean and functional, with a small view of the ocean through some buildings. The lobby is nicely decorated but the attached restaurant is drab. The rooftop pool area has a nice view but is rather small. The point of all these qualified statements that I am making is that basically, for $50 a night you are getting a clean room with a utilitarian bathroom and shower, which is a pretty good deal for the area. My room at the Radisson was basically the same (minus the balcony at the Radisson) but cost twice as much. Some high points to the Hotel Manibu are that the front desk clerk spoke excellent English, and there is a good restaurant called Entre Amigos on the beach in close walking distance. A low point of this hotel is that I did not see any other restaurants open in close walking distance (others have said there are some, but I walked around and didn't see anything open besides Entre Amigos). Anyway, if you don't want to pay top dollar for a hotel on the seafront this is a very reasonable choice.

Fique hospedado com minha Esposa por 7 dias. Hotel relativamente pequeno, porém entrega tudo o que foi proposto no ato da reserva, sem falar que atendimento dos funcionários, desde a recepção, passando pelo pessoal do café da manhã, pessoal da limpeza, sem retoques estão de parabéns, cama excelente, pedi 2 travesseiros a mais, no que fui atendido prontamente, banheiro pequeno com um chuveiro bem legal, localização não poderia ser melhor, fica apenas a duas quadras do melhor ponto da praia de boa viagem, vários bares e restaurante bem próximo, não tem estacionamento, mas todos os dias consegui vaga em frente ao Hotel. Café da manhã é modesto más atende muito bem, tem tapioca com vários sabores que feito na hora. Wi Fi atende muito bem. A tv é pequena, mas não tamo viajando pra assistir tv né? Eles aluga toalhas pra ir a praia por um valor bem em conta. Tá em dúvida? Fique não! Se o preço te agradou vá em frente pode reservar, vai arrepender não.

The hotel is clean and organized, the breakfast is simple but well prepared, with enough options. The location is perfect and you can go to a variety of good bars and restaurants nearby. In particular, the experience was very good because the receptionist Michelle was extremely careful, performing, kind and gave us various options for local tours. The hotel team is excellent and certainly suggestive to other people and I don't want to stay elsewhere when I go back to the Recife.

The chaos people dropped down with huge bags on the emergency staircase to get out of that place.As my own was already paid by the company, I had no choice and I had to stay 14 days in that mouse they call the hotel. My stay extended for 44 days but I went to another hotel that gave me the minimum comfort. The only thing that ”saves” is the service of the staff, all have always been very educated, at the reception, at the coffee and during cleaning, but it's all sad.

It's not only bad, it's depressing, bad, broken bed, window falling, TV cable crossing the floor of the room, electric shower, only one shot worked in the room .... and much more. Breakfast very bad, not closed door, horrible quality synthetic fabric bed, tergal type, unreal room floor .Finally ... There is absolutely no positive point.

All perfect, from the reception to the morning coffee. here is the family of the hotel serveing your. comfortable beds, noiseless room, wonderful bathroom, is your house outside, when you come to Recife that is where you can if you host without fear, because vc will be treated with all respect and comfort that you deserve

I loved the hotel. It was very comfortable and cozy. I realized as soon as I arrived I had made the right choice. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was delicious with many options. It has restaurants nearby, bakery, pharmacy and market on the back streets, and is also about two squares from the beach of Piedade, great for a walk. The only thing that left it to desire was the Wi-Fi that was swinging. I will return again if I need it.

It was not so much to wish for breakfast, unfortunately it was not organized, and they did not make repos, the options were already few, without repos that decreased even more.
