Really great staff, but loud club music behind hotel on the first night, thin walls w upstairs guests, loud folks eating late at night in courtyard, sirens, road traffic, train whistles throughout the night. Very little sleep. Staff graciously offered to move us for the second night, but we stayed put. Second night was much better. No problems. My dad loved it both nights. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee, tea, light snacks. Room decor was nicely updated. Mattress/Pillows 3/5. Towels 5/5. Shower 4/5. Noise 2/5. Service 5/5

Rooms were clean. Coffee at the front desk was good. Hotel is located on a busy street, so can be loud at night.

Not sure how the property received 9/10 rating. I’d expect ambience and unmatched decor at this rating. It was not much above Hotel 6 in feel. It’s the only place I ever stayed that would charge you $5 if you failed to return the electronic card key!

A beautifully remodeled gem right in the heart of downtown. It’s walking distance to tons of great, shop, restaurants and breweries. The beds were so incredibly comfy! I can’t remember the last time I dreamed so much. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Don’t forget to try some coffee in the main office. It was from a local roast and it was perfection. Can’t wait to stay again on my next trip to Redding!
