"I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come to Redding in the future. I have stayed in a total of 3 hotels in Redding, Sheraton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Holiday Inn. Only the Sheraton lives up to its name. Hilton Garden Inn has the worst service and facilities among the three. The front desk has a poor attitude towards non-native English speaking guests and is obviously much less patient. Sheraton will not have this feeling of being treated differently. The front desk staff is very polite and friendly to Chinese people. The house facilities are similar to those of newly built five-star hotels in China. They are new and comfortable. "Newly opened Holiday Inn Express at the site of the old Ramada, in northern Redding right on I-5. The newly designed rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. Everything is spotlessly clean. The indoor pool is a bit small, and unfortunately there is no whirlpool. The WiFi was unstable and stopped working completely late in the evening. Breakfast was of the usual high standard for Holiday Inns, with hot dishes (scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns), waffles and pancakes to make yourself, as well as bagels and cereal."
