Grand Sierra Resort and Casino Reviews

My stay was good. Room had to be changed due to a connected room which was very noisy. GSR thought the room was not connected due to their floor plans. New room was wonderful and pleasantly quiet.

We love staying at GSR so many activities for adults and children.

Was there in summer. Nice big room. No netflix or youtube can be connected. Pool is open only 10am.

Good hotel with big casino and bunch of restaurants within the hotel complex

No signs on directions to registration or elevators to hotel stay. Registration clerk or service clerk did not give much instructions to help with our first stay. We had to dig it out of her. Just said scan QR code??? We also didn’t know we had to Scann our card key to work elevator. Instructions were labeled in the elevator, other than out of the elevator before we entered. 

I usually love staying at this hotel but on this trip I had lots of trouble. Special events took up all parking spaces and I had to park off property after cruising for 30 minutes with no space available. The pool area was having a rock music beach party until 11 pm on the night I was departing and needed to wake at 5:30 am for my flight. No staff warned me of this late night party that created serious noise in the tower I was in that faced the pool. Hotel front desk offered ear plugs but no apology or offer to change rooms. To add insult to injury I asked for a wake up call that never happened. Luckily I had my phone to wake me although I got very little sleep.

Location is good. Clean

Overall good experience for the price. The facilities were good and adequate for our needs.

Very nice Cassino is packed and pays well

It is a very clean hotel! It could use better signage for parking but the staff was pleasant and helpful.

Arrived at the Lobby around 3pm on Christmas Eve and waited 40 mins to check in. Only 2 check in counters were open. Bad service, shame!!!

The hotel in Reno is excellent. It's very convenient to get on and off the I80 highway. Check-in and check-out are quick, and there are some good Chinese restaurants nearby.

Remember to bring slippers, as they are not provided. The blankets are very thin. The overall environment is okay, but the rooms are average.
