We recently enjoyed a fabulous 5 night stay at the Leo Hotel and we absolutely loved it. What a fabulous location, right in the heart of the old town of Rethymno. It's so lovely to be able to step out of the door and straight into the little streets and alleyways of this beautiful old town, with plenty of lovely restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. In spite of being so central, it was quiet in the hotel and we slept very well. The hotel itself is a former Venetian residence and it far exceeded our expectations. Our room was large and beautiful, beds were comfortable and all was kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast can be purchased whenever you want it, it is good value, very tasty and plentiful! We had hired a car and we always managed to find a free parking space around the fortress which is just 5 mins walk away. Best of all is the warm welcome you will receive from Eleni and Richard and team. They are just fantastic. Eleni gave us tips for the best beaches and places to visit. She even helped me in my quest to learn Greek!! What a fantastic stay, get it booked, you won't regret it! Thanks so much. Don't forget to come and visit us in Devon one day. Love Louise and Ben xx

The hotel was lovely, extremely conveniently located within rethymno and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! We had a lovely stay at Leo. I loved the fact that we were so close to everything but to find parking will be tough sometimes however pay parking is close by and street parking you can find if you look!

Nous nous sommes arrêtées à cette adresse pour déjeuner et le cadre est très sympa dans une petite ruelle piétonne typique de l’île. Les prix sont très abordables et on y mange bien. Personnel agréable. Je recommande. Plats grecs très bien cuisinés

S'il n'était pas complet dans quelques jours j'y serai retourné bien volontiers quitte à modifier mon plan de voyage. La vraie classe, le charme des choses habitées au lieu de la déco cheap des pseudos hôtels faussement classieux. Gérants fort agréables. Bravo Eleni. Bon rapport qualité/ prix en prime et une situation idéale pour visiter cette belle ville de Rethymnon qui m'a tant reposée de l'autre à coté. Excellente idée que l'interdiction des voitures après 11:00

Mitten drin in der Altstadt, venezianischer Hafen direkt um die Ecke, Zimmer/Bad groß und sauber, schnelles W-Lan, super nette Chefin ( danke nochmals für den hervorragenden Kaffee ), Parkplätze umsonst ( man muss halt suchen) und gegen Gebühr (48 h ca. 30 €) in Richtung Hafen ( 5-10 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt)

Stop in the Leo Cafe, part of Leo hotel. Had a small lunch, toasted sandwich and a baguette. Baguette toasted: aka burnt: nasty processed ham inside. Coffee au lait made with UHT milk (unpleasant) Then over charged!

The location and price of the hotel, right in Old Town, was great. The hotel itself was comfortable and quiet and the owner seemed like she would accommodate us the best she could. What was unfortunate was the bathroom - the door didn't ever really close. It was a swinging, glass door with a frosted appearance. There was a gap between the door and the wall so, in addition to it being frosted, it didn't lend for much privacy. My husband and I were traveling with a friend so this made bathroom time a little uncomfortable, especially because the hotel room itself was not large.

Un hôtel vraiment charmant à la déco soignée et très propre. Le personnel est discret et très agréable. Il est niché au cœur des ruelles de la vieille ville et pourtant très calme ! Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux avec jus de fruit frais

Das Leo Hotel liegt mitten im Geschehen der Altstadt Rethymno, aber dennoch recht ruhig in einer kleinen Seitengasse. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind ausgesprochen liebevoll möbliert. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, vor allem, nachdem man sich etwas näher kennengelernt hat😉. Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend und wurde liebevoll zubereitet. Kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten sind in etwa 10 Gehminuten erreichbar.
