"The room is large, the terrace pool and the view are very good, the pool is very clean, and the hotel's private beach is better than the beach next to it. The restaurant is very good, the five-course dinner is impeccable and worth the money. The snacks provided by the beach bar are also very delicious. The only drawback is that the double bed is not ideal and the bedding is not comfortable enough."

"We have just returned from a week at Creta Palace. We absolutely loved it. The staff and the hotel could not do enough for us, they were all fantastic. The hotel is absolutely stunning, the facilities are great and the food and drinks wonderful. We stayed in a superior family room with 2 children and the room had more than enough space/facilities. This was by far the best hotel we have stayed at in Greece. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Every staff member who walked past, said hello and good morning/evening. Every time we needed anything, it was sorted within minutes. The beach is wonderful with great sun beds. All of the drinks were proper drinks were freshly made and good products used. I don’t have a bad thing to mention. Georgio the manager (apologies if I misspelt his name - was absolutely superb. He went above and beyond for us. My auntie and uncle got married at the hotel so we were there with a large group of people. The wedding set up was absolutely fantastic, the staff were beyond great. My only regret is that we did not stay longer."

"The hotel itself met our expectations. We usually travel with more than average luxury, and this hotel choice was on point. We chose a superior room from the highest floor with sea view. The room in total was modern and clean! Also the hotel as a whole is very top notch. Lots of daily activities, couple restaurants. We actually forgot to use the pools, since the beach is so nearby, but the pool areas seemed great. The hotels own beach is perfect addition. At the time of our stay there were plenty of available sunbeds. Hotel is within walking distance from everything, and was a great choice for us who want to enjoy the beach, and also the town. Staff is extremely friendly with eager to help attitude: During our stay we faced a problem with the electricity sockets in our room since there was limited sockets near the mirrors for doing hair. We asked the staff if it would be possible to loan an extender for the sockets, and couple hours later we indeed received one from the maintenance. Also during our checkout we expressed that we would be in need for recycling our damaged suitcase. The staff also gave us extended later checkout since there was availability. Huge mention and thanks for the gluten free diatery service and awareness. During the check in we were asked if we had any dietary restrictions. One of us is a celiac and follows a gluten free diet. At the buffet, all diatery info is displayed, so it was very easy to see which foods are suitable for the diet. Also huge respect and appreciation for the executive chef Stylianos and his staff. He would arrange gluten free bread, pancakes and other foods for us if we wished. They really made our stay stress free and overall greater experience. Overall, the food was tasty and had great variety. Both breakfast and dinner buffet had daily changes in selectipn which was awesome."

"Good environment, live in the loft suite, the balcony can see the sea, next to Leximnon, a hillside, parking at the door is free 😅 In fact, Crete is very large, so tourists on Crete will not affect the life of the locals. Driving to various beaches. A few euros can have sun umbrellas and lounge chairs. There is also free one on the last day. I just found one at will. I just lie on the beach and blow the sea breeze. It’s very comfortable to see the sea.  Blue Lagoon is beautiful, but it is a test of car technology, car conditions and physical fitness! The meat of Crete is the best and the unique traditional roasting method - racked above the oven, round the stove, incense!"

"I have mixed feelings about this hotel , I arrived late almost midnight my cases were taken to my room for me which was nice the room was nice and there was 2 bottles of water in the fridge for me on arrival . However every morning the cleaners started around 730am and the walls between room are so thin you can hear every bit of noise from someone sneezing or coughing or the TV on cleaners hoovering in corridors pre 8am when I come away on holiday I personally don't wanna be woken up every morning so early by noise , I arrived on Sunday my room wasn't attempted to be cleaned until the Wednesday or Thursday and even then it was a thorough clean no bedding changed floor not swept or mopped all that had been done was new towels bin emptied bed cover thrown down toilet cleaned by the Saturday I had to physically ask for my bedding to be changed then on the Saturday I came back to find my hotel door wide open which I had shut upon leaving to find someone from hotel had been in with a gift of olive oil which was a nice gesture but to then leave my door open luckily nothing had been stolen from my room as I did have my tablet , jewellery in my room so unfortunately I won't be re booking this hotel"

"We stayed at the Rethymno village hotel and we could not fault our stay. If you are looking for an all inclusive trip to chill with your family at a reasonable price this hotel ticks the boxes. The rooms are extremely clean and cleaned everyday by the staff who do an amazing job ! The food was great just what you would expect from an all inclusive buffet Greek authentic food every night as well as spaghetti and chips for the fussy children and plenty of ice cream to wash it down with. All inclusive drinks only include the local wine and beef options but you can make do cocktails are charged extra at around 3 euros each which again isn’t bad at all. This hotel was exactly what it described and we would definitely visit again"
