Perfectly located close to the town, shops and sea front. Lovely helpful reception, good sized rooms and delicious breakfast with v helpful staff. Very good cocktails too!

Wonderful historic hotel in the heart of downtown Rykiavek. This hotel is a throwback and we fell in love with its Art Deco architecture. Our suite was enormous, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel borders the city's square and has wonderful restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet is also quite good, with lots of local foods and flavors. If you enjoy history, architecture, and competent service, this hotel is the one to choose.

I stayed two nights and was very happy with my stay. The room was clean and quiet and the service was friendly and corresponded to my need. I appreciate that environmental aspects are taken into consideration, and I chose not to have cleaning between my two nights.

Very comfortable rooms with lovely bathroom. It is in a central location close to bars and restaurants. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming.

what a lovely hotel, perfect for a short walk to dinner. If driving, there's an underground car park 5 minute walk away.
