The front desk staff are very helpful, and the hotel can store luggage for free. The breakfast is also very good! The hot water becomes stable very quickly!
The room was clean and quiet!
It's also very close to the church! The location is great!

The location is good. It takes ten minutes to walk to the church and the main attractions. The fine Chinese food next to it is super delicious.

I think this is a problem with Trip.com. When I was booking the room the hotel shown was the Foss Hotel thats rated 4-5 stars and is multi story. When I got there I was told there are 4 Foss hotels in the city and I'm at one of the smaller ones. This hotel only had 4-5 floors, was old with broken furniture and their hot water was well water ... and we all know that smells like rotten eggs. They had no bath soap or conditioner. When we asked for fan's we got the smallest desk fan. Although the staff's assistant was the best the facility itself is bad. the stairs had torn carpet. We were lucky we had to stay just one night there.

Excellent hotel, basic but very clean and THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.(including my own) Staff were great, delicious breakfast too, in fact I can't fault it at all.

We started our stay being "greeted" by a pretty unfriendly receptionist. Having travelled all over Iceland, where we met the nicest people imaginable, this was not a good or expected experience. All in all the staff seemed annoyed to have us, and I would say, that looking back at our options - there are so many other places that I would rather stay at next time compared to this. The hotel itself is alright, if a little tired and sad - but the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Also despite saying that there is free parking on multiple websites, they've changed their policy, so this isn't true. (But of course they haven't bothered to change this online, because it brings in customers).

Ziemlich zentral gelegenes Hotel. Sauberes Zimmer. Sehr tolles, reichhaltiges Frühstück, grosse Auswahl. Freundliches Personal. Genügend Parkplätze vor dem Hotel, sonst kostenpflichtige Möglichkeit für Garagenparking. Wir haben hier die erste Nacht nach Ankunft in Island und vor der Rundreise verbracht. Den einzigen Mangel, den wir vorbringen können ist die sehr weiche Matratze.

Muy bien situado respecto al centro de la ciudad. Transporte público al lado. Personal muy profesional, atentos y cordiales. Sobre todo, Katy que resolvió y gestionó todas nuestras dudas de manera diligente. La cama y almohadas muy comodas. Tienen cortinas opacas. Las instalaciones requieren algo de reforma. Tuvimos algun problema con la ducha y el agua caliente y nos cambiaron de habitación dos veces hasta quedar conformes.
