We recently stayed at the Kvosin Downtown Hotel in Reykjavik Iceland. It was a delight and everything we wanted. It is central to the city, beautifully appointed with a modern, elegant Scandanavian style. We had a small kitchenette, a desk, plenty of space for our needs. It is situated close to the heart of town, beside the Parliament building and across from the first cathedral in Iceland. One block away was the start of many restaurants and shops, and close to all the features we wanted to see. We particularly appreciated the help from the reception staff, given with a small and chat at all times. They helped me understand the heating and lighting in the room, gave ideas for good things to see, find our way to particular destinations, and best of all booked our bus back to the airport. It is some time since we travelled and we are now in our 70s and 80s so the support was unquestioning and so generous. There was also hot coffee in the foyer whenever we wanted it. I would return there in a flash if it wasn't so far from Australia.

Perfekt beliggenhed, meget hyggeligt hotel og venligt personale. Eneste minus ved hotellet er, at det er så lydt, at vi ikke fik en eneste sammenhængende nattesøvn på trods af brug af ørepropper pga. larm fra værelset over os.

I absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. Locationwas perfect - walking distance from the main highstreet and also the like the party/restaurant areas. Facilities were clean and the staff were very accomodating.

We had a wonderful time at Kvosin hotel. Very conveniently located from the bus pickups as well as surrounded by variety of food options in the downtown. Loved the hotel. Loved the surrounding.

We come back for the last day of our trip because is perfect location to explore Reykjavík. Walking distance to restaurants and main interesting places. Safe area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable, warm, spacious for family of four.
