I‘ll recommend to choose a lower bunk when you are going to stay in a 6-beds-room, because there is no private curtains in upper bunks.
What’s more, you must spend about 6 euros to rent a towel if you don’t bring one.
It’s a little noisy in night especially for people who must go sleep and get up early to attend a travel tour. But you can always get ear plugs from the friendly stuff for free.

No elevators in G+4 floor building. They do not mention this anywhere before booking. The dorm rooms are on 2/3/4 floor. If you have medical issues/back issue, definitely do not go here. Staff is also not helpful or interested whatsoever in customer service. Poor management.

Bathroom: There are male/female public bathrooms, male/female single bathrooms (three each), and separate toilets.
I stayed on the fourth floor, and the hygiene was relatively clean.
Overall, KEX Hostel is not bad, but it is not recommended for friends with light sleep. Because everyone in the room has a different schedule, some catch early flights, some arrive in the middle of the night, and some come back very late at night to chase the aurora, so it is very noisy all night. I also met a few friends when I stayed in the hostel for the first time, and everyone was very nice.
It is very friendly to friends who come to Iceland alone🇮🇸

It was a great stay. Clean beds, toilets and showers. Smooth and friendly front desk service. I would definitely use this hostel again when I visit Reykjavik.

青旅中環境算不錯的，洗浴的地方挺多的，樓下有酒吧大廳，去的時候大家在那看比賽，廚房也挺好的，性價比比較高。
