After a long drive over night climbing a mountain for sun rise and driving down to the hotel on no sleep we slept like logs. Very comfortable accommodation, a little bit of traffic noise but nothing major. Very clean and helpful staff

The place is characterful and full of charming antique features, the beams, the stonework etc but in severe need of inves**ent and sympathetic refurbishment. Stayed on first floor and the old floorboards in the room above were *outrageously* loud whenever anyone in room above took a step and they were a large family group, I think, of more than two people who liked to move around a lot! I honestly can’t convey how noisy this was without attaching a recording of it. I’m sure that these boards could be sympathetically renovated and relaid so that they no longer keep guests in the room below awake or actually even wake them up out of sleep every time someone moves. Bathroom: toilet uses a mascerator which makes each flush massively noisy and there’s an old style electric pump shower which was hard to get a constant flow and temperature out of and a part of the trim kept falling off into the bath. Some mould on the sealant needs to be attended to in the corner. Entrance on ground floor: carpet a bit past its best days - a little dirty. Smell of vape from room by entrance door quite strong and ingrained. Presumably a permanent tenant / staff member in there with a strong vape habit.

Location was fantastic. Room clean. Only 4 small drawers for storage and few clothes hangers with a clearance not deep enough for a shirt. £1200 for two double rooms, one with single occupancy, and breakfast not included for 4 nights. Very old creaky building, so a lot of noise when people moved around. Bar and bistro not open, presumably due to staff shortages. Also only one large and one small bath towel and one hand towel. All in all not worth the money charged. Staff friendly and food good. Had to ask for extra shower gel after first day. Shower very noisy and low pressure.

Haven't stayed at Ty Morgans for quite a few years. I love the quirkyness of the place, old walls, not straight walls. Bathroom clean and suitable Bed and pillows could do with an upgrade, mattress clearly bumpy and pillows very thin. Room overall could do with a good clean, (cobwebs on the ceiling, and mould on the windows), however the quick day to day clean was good and satisfactory. Kids room was perfect for our little one. Would stay again.

Got to the hotel staff in cafe gave me the key to room and said they close at 4pm , room situated on main road which is very busy and I had no sleep whatsoever I emailed the hotel who said they would refund me then went back on their word and refusing my refund now

Rooms are looking a bit tired now, not spotlessly clean by any means. A few holes in the net curtains, a lot of grime on the bathroom radiator and so on. The location has always been challenging due to being next to the main road, which means not really being able to leave the windows open and with all the motorbikes it is very noisy. Breakfast was superb though.

I think we had the dud room, that was in the eaves. I am tall and room was totally impracticable. Shower curtain came up to my chest for example. Skirting board falling to pieces from overflow water. Bed small and uncomfortable. Check in was at a pub up the road. No designated parking as suggested on website. Room 7, definitely needs some attention

Nice little town. Very friendly staff, Rooms characterful, comfortable and clean. Road can be busy. That said a lovely stay.

Really nice stay food great good little village sorry about noise busy street picked motoring events weekend and could here music band on till late apart from that lovely place
