Cook's Club Kolymbia Rhodes -Adults Only

Pros: Nice modern hotel Good restaurants (good vegan options), great pizza Friendly staff and lots of them Nice bar area in the evening with good quality entertainment (e.g saxophonists, chilled singers) Cons: Sunbeds - nowhere near enough!! Not allowed own food/drinks (even soft drinks!) Nothing nearby and nothing in the town and it's a 30 minute walk away Poor quality breakfast - they also guard oat milk like it's liquid gold, only they can pour it for you Other advice: Wouldn't bother going half board, just pay as you go at their restaurants/others nearby Visit Olive groves restaurant round the corner, amazing staff! (Avoid Michel's)

During our stay at the Cooks club Kolymbia we had many issues. The first one being that when we arrived we were placed in the incorrect room, as I had asked a few weeks prior to arriving that we would have a double bed and not 2 single beds. The hotel emailed me back and confirmed this request has been received, although when I spoke to them about how I asked a few weeks prior they seemed to have no clue about my email. The 2 single beds are just pushed together with a gap in the middle which are rather annoying to sleep on, and when you are paying this much money for a holiday you would expect to at least have a double bed. The next room we moved too (the day after asking to move) had a double bed, however we found out when we tried to sleep at 11pm that the air con wasn’t working and the room was stuck at the temperature of 27.5c. When we called reception they tried to tell us this was correct. They advised they would send the maintenance guy to fix the air con. Half an hour passed and no one came. We then called again and reception told us he would be on his way soon. We had to call 3 times and eventually the maintenance guy came just after 12am. Long story short it couldn’t be fixed and we had to move rooms for the third time. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday where you want to sleep before 11/12 then I would look elsewhere. We were unable to sleep most nights due to the noise from the bar outside our room. I completely understand to expect noise from hotels like this one but going on til past 11pm does just end up getting annoying. Not sure if the supermarket staff are affiliated with the hotel but they are extremely rude, they throw your change at you and ignore you. Please be cautious about using one of their spare showers on your last day if needed. Our flight home was at 11:55pm on our last day, so we had to wait at the hotel all day until our transfer at 8. We asked if we could shower beforehand and they said that was fine to do. They gave us a room key to use one of the showers in a room currently not being used. When we turned the shower on boiling hot water (genuinely it was like kettle water) came out and burnt me. My partner told the reception this happened and they actually told him they already knew this shower was faulty but still sent us to that room to shower anyway? If you are putting all your drinks and food on your tab for your room to pay at the end just be careful about what is being charged. The hotel tried to over charge us for drinks we never had/ordered. We ensured we paid for all of our drinks and food everytime and not put anything on our room as we did not want a hefty bill at the end. However when we wanted to checkout they gave it a large bill is many drinks totalling over 100 euros. My partner advised them that surely this must be a mistake as we always paid for our drinks and food there and then. My partner then had to embarrassingly wait for them to investigate this as if we were lying. Of course

This hotel does not fall short of 5 stars. From the moment we arrived, we were offered cold towels and juice. We were then shown to our room and helped with our luggage. The staff are some of the best I have ever encountered. Hugeeeee shout out to Stavroulla from guest relations who is an absolute star - love the shoe collection by the way haha! All restaurant and bar staff are also fantastic, especially Stavroulla and Marios in the Cantina Restaurant who made every morning and evening ever so pleasant by going the extra mile for us. Massive thank you to F&B manager Yiannis aswell for always being so accommodating. The food is also insane!! They serve soup, 3x appetisers, a choice of one of two mains and a dessert each night. The chefs here are top quality and you definitely should not miss out. Overall this hotel is an absolute dream. Everywhere is super clean, staff are great, food and drinks are delicious and rooms are beautiful. Don’t think twice about this one guys, just book it! We will definitely be returning. Once again, thank you all for everything 😊

Came for four nights with my friend and as soon as we arrived we were so welcomed. The place is beyond beautiful and so clean. We had the half board package and breakfast and dinner did not disappoint every morning and night. Our trip would not have been as magical without some of the lovely staff. Biggest thank you to Stavroula Dekouloakou, Stefanos and Mario who looked after us every day!

A massive massive thank you to Stefanos, Stavroula ,Mario's, Giannis karagian and dimitris!!!!!!!!! Have made our week here unforgettable! I have a very severe dairy allergy and they have all gone above and beyond for me! I’ve felt more comfortable eating here than I do in England! They have gone out of their way everyday! So much so we are booking to come back in September ! Me and my partner have eaten here every night in their Italian restaurant, Asian street food and in their cantina. And never been disappointed 10/10 food!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The facility’s are so clean , staff are amazing and the service is second to none!! Thank you cooks club ! We will be back ❤️❤️
