Xenones Lindos

Firstly the welcome: Arthur is a fabulous host, a credit to the owners. He is warm, informative, helpful and kind. He is an absolute credit to Xenones. Secondly the location: Simply perfect. A short walk from the top car park. Stunning views of the town and acropolis. Thirdly the facilities: Clean and functional room. Serviced regularly by friendly staff. 2 ring cooker, fridge, double bed, wardrobe, mirrors, hair dryer, shower and toiletries... What more do you need? The only thing that slightly spoiled out holiday was when two Liverpudlian couples moved in to rooms 8 and 9. They shared the courtyard that our bedroom overlooked. One of the ladies in the group did not have a volume control on her voice or laugh and would shout to her husband regardless of the time or consideration for other sleeping guests. Perhaps a sign could be erected in the courtyard reminding guests to be considerate of others? Overall a lovely place and staff.

First off, remember this is Lindos; a world heritage site. They aren't allowed to modify much by law. So, there are no pools anywhere in the village. Look at the hotels in Krana for that. That said, Xenones is one of the best package deal places in the village. It's an authentic fisherman's cottage complex with little courtyards. A great place to meet new friends. Facilities in the room are basic and adequate, but who goes to cook their own meals on an evening. A fridge for milk/beer/water and sandwich stuff is all we needed. Arthur, who is there about 28 hours a day, is just THE perfect host.

We loved the place. Stayed in block A. Spotlessly clean, well looked after and Arther is a lovely man. If you are looking for the ritz then find somewhere else, this is a proper apartment that has everything you need. A proper gem in Lindos

Just had 7 nights hear room was basic but done the job realy close to everything you need in lindos Arthur was very helpful even took are cases to pick up point every enjoyable stay also beeches are really good as are all locals

Stayed at Xenones apartments for two weeks to attend a wedding and stay for a longer holiday. We stayed in Block D which comprises four traditional apartments off a delightful communal courtyard. Whilst the rooms are fairly basic in terms of furnishings and self catering equipment, ours was spotlessly clean, well serviced, and the included air conditioning and safety deposit box made it ideal for our needs. The main street with innumerable bars and restaurants was a very short walk away. Arthur, the on site manager was always cheerful and extremely helpful, even providing assistance with lugging suitcases around and dealing with transfer companies to avoid complications. Would definitely use Xenones again if we ever return to Lindos.

I loved the location of this. Slightly out of the centre but still only a five minute walk. It’s basic accommodation but very clean and comfortable. Arthur who runs it does his best to accommodate and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is basic but very reasonably priced. Stunning views of the acropolis and we loved having a final evening drink and looking over the town below. This isn’t 5 star luxury but everything works as well as it should and with so many excellent bars and restaurants located nearby as well as a choice of four beaches, using this as a base is perfect.

My wife and I came to lindos for our honeymoon and stayed at the beautiful Xenones in August..it was a few weeks after the fires had been put out on Rhodes,we werent sure what to expect because the media had made out that the lindos area was affected. But when we got to lindos we could see that all was well...even though a lot of the island had been affected..we were greeted and checked in by Arthur the hotel manager and had a cold beer on arrival in the very pretty terrace bar.our room was simple but very clean as tastefully decorated,the bed was a little hard for me but my wife loved it..the bathroom was again simple but all you need. The location was perfect only a 10 min walk to the centre of lindos and a close walk to bus stops and transfer pickup.we loved everything about Xenones .very reasonably priced and maintained to a high standard..Arthur was an absalute star extremely helpful with anything you needed..rooms were cleaned daily with new sheets and towels every 2 days.. As for lindos I'm very well travelled and I can honestly say one of the prettiest and friendly places I've ever been..Rhodes is a beautiful island but for us theres only one place to stay and that's lindos.and if we ever come back which is likely we're be booking back in to Xenones.

The holiday was a last minute booking, I must say that the hotel was fantastic, I really can’t give any negative feedback, very clean, spacious & was in the best location, views of the town & the Acropolis are amazing, the host Arthur is very good is respect of advice on trips, where to eat etc. & was very helpful as we had a late flight to catch, offering wash facilities, towels etc. I would highly recommend to anyone, families & couples. Will certainly be returning.
