Having stayed in many 4 star and 5 star all inclusive hotels whilst on holiday our expectations of this hotel, being rated as a 4 star all inclusive plus was for us to enjoy a similar standard. This hotel did not match our expectations and fell short of our previous experiences at all other similar/highly rated holiday type hotels. For example when we arrived after our flight we were asked if we would like to enjoy a drink at the main bar, whilst we waited to be booked in. The hotel offers international and premium wine, spirits and beers, so we decided on two beers and two vodka and tonics ! To our amazement what we were served with was a local beer and what can only be described as a very poor substitute for a vodka & tonic. (The beer was served in a whisky type tumbler and not in a beer type glass ) !! and so was ALL the drinks during our stay. So this was their understanding of international drinks in a 4 star plus all inclusive hotel, not a good start. Entertainment was OK, but the staging on a wooden platform between 2 of the pools outside with no lighting was very strange, you could hear but could not see !! Or they performed at the pool bar away from the main guest area, and again with no lighting !! Table setting in the main restaurant was not what you would expect in a 4 star plus all inclusive hotel. Always having to ask for a fork, a knife or a spoon may seem petty, but in a 4 star plus !! We experienced number of other similar issues, nothing major but still not what you would expect in a class 4 star plus hotel. It is only our opinion but this is not a 4 star hotel.

We had the most amazing stay here with all staff being so courteous and friendly . On my last day I had booked a treatment at their gorgeous spa with Eva . This was absolutely sublime and I loved every second of it . I also want to mention the ladies in the main restaurant. So courteous and always smiling . Overall a fantastic 10 day experience.

We had an amazing experience at Aegeo spa. Eva and Catherine took a great care of us. We had Cretan message for 70 minutes followed by aloe massage for 15 minutes. Both ladies were very professional and experienced. We enjoyed every minute of it.

Great hotel & spa. Spa service by Eva & Manos was great :) Had a great overall experience and was really relaxed throughout the vacation. Went as a couple. All inclusive was great value for the money and the spa service was friendly as well as relaxing.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at The Ixian Grand in Rhodes three times now, and I can’t say enough good things about this incredible hotel. Each time I visit, I’m blown away by how everything – from the food to the service – is simply exceptional. We stayed in one of the swim-up suites in the all-suites area, and I have to say, it was perfect. Waking up and stepping directly into the pool was pure luxury, and the serene atmosphere made every moment feel special. The suite itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the comforts you could need. The food is always amazing, with a wide variety of dishes that never fail to impress. Whether you’re enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the flavors are fresh and delicious, catering to every taste. Every visit to The Ixian Grand feels like a dream, and I know I’ll be returning again. This hotel is truly a gem in Rhodes, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Just returned from a great week at the Ixian Grand Suotes & Spa, we had a fantastic room overlooking the pool & side view of the sea. Bed was comfortable & room clean & spacious with plenty of storage..we also treated ourselves to a couples full body massage & facials which was absolutely amazing! Angela & Katherine gsve the best massages & facials & left feeling totally relaxed...thank you!

Had a spa at the Hotel, lovely relaxing area. My husband and I had a 90 minute treatment. Katherine and Christina did a great job. Very relaxing just what we needed. Hotel is great lovely staff, clean rooms, excellent food something for everybody. Don't care what anyone says.

Currently on our honeymoon and booked in to the spa. Panagiota & Christiania were really polite, excellent service and we left feeling very relaxed and happy after our full body massages. Loved the spa so much we booked back in and received 2 free gifts as a thank you. Highly recommend for anyone looking to treat themselves, plus a huge bonus that you can do all the treatments as a couple and use the spa facilities, such as indoor pool and sauna

Over all we had a lovely stay for 11 days, in a swim up room, garden view. The hotel reception area and bar was good. The beachfront area and pools are first class, a view we will remember for a long time. The room I was disappointed in, for the money I paid I expected more luxury. Being greeted by a cockroach wasn’t a great start, making sleep difficult for me. The pool and patio area leading out from the suite was good. The room we felt could have benefited a full length mirror for the ladies. Bedside cupboard with draws to put medication. The settee in the room had seen better days, and the long cupboard at the end of the bed, was well used. My husband asked twice for another pillow as I have neck and shoulder problems, this never arrived. We didn’t like the buffet food, low chairs at the tables, but thankfully we had access to the Alazonia restaurant which was excellent, Christina, Maritta and everyone that served us was attentive, and if we didn’t eat all of the meal, they would check if we wanted something else, first class service, set menu which changed every night. Even came and sang to me on by birthday with a desert with a candle in, such a nice jesters. The cats around the hotel and grounds are gorgeous and fed by so many. We enjoyed the entertainment. All the staff work so hard and are friendly, cleaners sweeping and washing floors in all areas. Would we come again? - I am undecided.
